Honestly fake it till you make it. I use to be the exact same way, and I got into this amazing hs... I started putting myself out there and I always had a smile on my face even tho I was dying inside😂. Honestly, if you can just be nice to everyone you meet, and practice answering on the spot... the confidence part will gradually come along.

There’s lots of things you can put on a resume besides job experiences like things you’ve accomplished academically in school, any volunteer work you’ve done, extracurricular activities, or any skills you have that may set you apart from others. There are also lots of websites that already have a resume format so all you to do is input your info!

I just got hired with no experience by chick fil a, my resume was just skills (like being patient, bilingual, etc.), school stuff (GPA, awards), sports stuff, babysitting, community service, etc. They were really nice and didnt care that I'd never had a real job before

I’m 17 & I got hired right when the coronavirus started. I went in for an interview & got hired a couple of hours later. I was told the next day that I couldn’t work there yet, but my first day of training is in a couple of days! So excited & kind of nervous!

If you guys see this, I just saw this video lol. Didn’t know people did this hahaha. Many CFA’s do have open interviews that you can go to. The location I work at does it that way. We have open interviews where you can bring your resume and fill out an application on the spot or send one to the store. One big thing I’ll tell you about what many CFA’s looks at is for someone who can help promote a home environment. If you guys have any questions about CFA let me know. I’ve been working at my location for 2and a half years, so I’ve got a bit of experience. I’ve helped with interview too. Be respectful. Make sure to be presentable. If you bring a resume make sure it’s nice and neat, no wrinkles or stains. Don’t take to long filling out an application be friendly and be someone who is willing to work.

Sorry guys just saw. There are three interviews that you go through. The first for me was an open interview, some Chick-fil-As do it differently, for me this was how it was done. First interview is usually about you. They'll ask you questions about you and try to get you to open up abit. This is where they see how you are with interacting with people. They might get you alone or in a group of people. They'll ask you questions about your application, If you have had previous work experience and things along that line. Also talk about your availability and where you would like to be in kitchen or front counter. And also why you would be a good employee, why did you leave your previous job if you had one, etc. Second interview is similar. They'll ask you almost the same questions, but will be more detailed and start asking more specific questions. Third interview will be with the Owner/Operator or with HR or someone that the operator trust alot. This will be just a quick interview. They'll ask you when you are available to start working and all that. Essentially if you went and got all the way up to the 3rd interview you know you got hired.

For those of you stressing out about the interview, DON’T! My managers were extremely nice and understanding; friendly and inviting. They ask me, like, three questions and I was hired on the spot. Keep in mind that I’m 16 and have never worked at a previous establishment before. Ya’ll got this. ✨ EDIT: Ended up quitting. My coworkers and supervisors made the job a living nightmare for me. And I was only in-training!! They were so… lazy. Especially once closing time would come around. They’d dump all of their responsibilities onto the trainees and expect us to pick up their slack. I felt so belittled working there and hated how my coworkers would talk to me like I was a toddler. Probably never gonna work in the fast-food industry again.

Hint hint: don’t say you can only work for that season (i.e. fall, summer, etc.) You’ll get turned down if you do. 2) What do you like to do for fun? 3) Tell us about yourself. I can’t guarantee your employee will ask you the same same questions they asked me, but for everyone I’ve talked to who has also interviewed for a job at CFA, it’s mostly the same. It’s pretty simple stuff, really! Just be honest. Relax. Be sure to smile. If you end up having to do research, you’re over-preparing and will like stress yourself out for nothing. You’re gonna do awesome!!

NEW CHICKFILA EMPLOYEE HERE ! i had ONE group interview.. and then got called back two days later and had a ONE ON ONE with the manager and was hired on the spot I started the 13th as an expeditor in Texas in my city we get paid $15/hr because I’m over 18 only sundays off . MY FIRST DAY WAS MISERABLE I work 7am-3pm and my first day reached 110 degrees and we only get ONE 20 minute break . I was dying but my advice is to GET HYDRATED ! water is my best friend I bring my own INSULATED WATER BOTTLE a gallon sized one ! My second day was a little better my feet didn’t hurt until maybe 12pm ! but let’s see how it continues to GO!

Yeah just dont apply for a drive thru or front register position unless you are 25 yrs old or younger. I am 46. Got hired for drivve thru and 2 of the leaders made it obvious that they did not like me working with them. Leading to many BS write ups which I have never got a write up in all my years in fast food. Same director wrote me up each time. Just saying if you fall in the category of 30 yrs old or older...dont apply for drive thru or front register

I had an interview a few days ago. I was asked about When was the last time I “served someone” , how I do in school, etc. they just want to learn about you. I got the job the next day after 1 interview.

You must smell sooooooooo Delicious. I worked in the restaurant industry, 11am to 1pm is super busy specially on the weekends, it's a tough gig. If I owned one of these chain restaurants, I be giving my employees a nice little bonus spending money quarterly and a fund for students working at the restaurant.

Update: didn't get the job bc they weren't looking to hire someone my age bc I'd have to leave work early.

I applied online, and they had my first interview over Google Meet, I was able to schedule that interview the next morning, and after the interview they told me to wait until the final interview for me to put in a 2 week notice. Later that day, I was asked if I was able to come in Tuesday at 3:45, and I said that I was unable to due to the fact I got to be at work by 11am. So instead, they want me to come in that day at 8am

How many hours do they allow 14 year olds to work? Doing school weeks and weekends.

@@hellokittyx0xo no but they loved me, take this girls tips!! it didn’t end up working out because they needed someone who could work earlier hours and unfortunately i couldn’t :( but they complimented me a ton through out the interview. one tip i have is to be v enthusiastic they love high and friendly energy!!

i called in and they said they weren’t taking interviews until the virus calmed down and i called back and now they’re saying the manager would call if they were interested 😭

ItsGoofyJay ! i didn’t apply to the website i used snagajob but it may be similar. they would call you and ask when a good time to set up an interview would be if they liked your application! :)

Im 14 and Im looking into working at CFA because they said the youngest they will hire is 14 and i wanted to work at CFA because i heard they were flexible with work schedules and thats what i need because im gonna be in high school and im just scared i wont get the job because of my age

I’m turning 15 and I want to work there too but I’m also kind of antisocial and get anxious when having to talk to strangers. But I want to make my own money and feel proud of it

user7656 it’s different for every location but basic ones are why do you want to work here, what’s ur schedule like etc.

So at what point do they give you the uniform? How much do they cost?

They give you the uniform on your first or second onboarding. The first uniform is free and the others cost about 50$ per (for shirt and pants)

Melissa Tanriverdi she did say that it might take a week and a half for them to reply to your application. I’m thinking you should apply about a week before school ends. Unless you don’t want to start so soon then apply whenever.

How did you fill out an application

I have a online interview tomorrow and I'm nervous

I put it an application today and the manger told me that he would need me to work there a minimum of 5 years and that I would need to sign a contract 🤨 did this happen to anyone else?

Do you need a workers permit at age 16? How do you get a workers permit and what is it? What did you put on your resume as it was your first job? What questions did they ask you and how did you answer them?

Ballerina Equestrian with most workers permits you can simply get 1 at school. Just go you your main office or athletic department and ask if they offer work permits. Before you get one you should have a job offer

If you didnt get hired on the spot how long did it take them to call you and tell you that you got the job just have my 2nd interview and it’s been three days and I’m nervous😭

@@joshuacool2239 After the second interview it took about three days to get a call back, so make sure your ringer is on. I’m actually replying to you on my break at my CFA as well. 😂
