This is the first ukelele channel I have come across who is not uploading only song tutorials. learning a lot from your videos ❣️
Today I went into a shop to get a tenor ukulele... I ended up with a bariton ukulele and I love it! I used to play the guitar, but because of arthritis in my fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome, I can't play the guitar anymore. So I got a soprano ukulele and an online course to learn how to play it. Then i heard about a tenor ukulele and wanted to try that, because the sound of the soprano is a bit too high for my liking. I'm more a person for lower and softer sounds, more guitar-like. Now i found your channel and I love your demonstration of the bariton ukulele! It sounds so much like my beloved guitar and is somehow a bit easier to play. Now this is my instrument; finally found it! I hope to see more of you on KZread and more of the bariton ukulele. Thank you so much! And if you ever have a course on playing the bariton ukulele, I'd love to take it!

Try 1/2 a teaspoon of ginger with 1/2 a teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of lemonade - my sister put me onto this as she has osteo arthritis in her hands - I have arthritis in my knee - try it for a few days - it cleared my arthritis - it's bloody marvellous!
Hello! Long time bass player here, and I've recently fell in love with ukelele. Been playing it for about a year now, and your channel has really opened my eyes to the heights the instrument can reach. Thank you!

Thanks Dob. The Uke is a lovely instrument. I am sure it feels a lot smaller than a bass ☀️🎸

There is a bass version of the ukulele, I have no idea if it's any good but I figured I'd mention it as I think it may be something you'd like. Lol

@@BlueDragonMedia There is a Uke bass but because the scale length is smaller, the strings have to be much thicker and heavier. The tone is more like a thud. It doesn't have much ring or sustain. Nevertheless, some like it and a great way to get a bass sound in a compact instrument.
WOW. Using Em instead of Am as part of the 4-chord progression gives such a different and beautiful feel.
This is genius. Really helping me to move away from only learning one song at a time to making them my own and adding variation and creativity to them! If you'd make videos about music theory, and how to apply that in ur playing, that'd be soooooo awesome!!

You make the ukulele sound so magical.
Awesome video… Was starting to get bored playing the same chords and this has given me a new direction to go and more options to build on. Thank you!
You continue to amaze me by the beautiful sounds you make with a ukelele. So inspiring. This is an excellent, progressive lesson that is well thought out. Thank you so much.

I wish I had you as a uke teacher when I started 6 years ago. You are incredible and I'd willing pay for 1-2-1 on zoom etc. for lessons. Thanks.
You inspire me to learn and practice 😊
I always watch your videos since I found them recently. Took up the ukulele a few months ago and your tutorials are simply the best! Thank you!!!
So good to have video's like this. I have been playing clarinet and saxophone for years and years, and around 2 years ago I was done with it and fell in love with playing ukulele (this was something different). Now when I am getting better at it I start to focus on technique and theory. The cool thing is that a lot is the same, but on a clarinet or sax there is no concept like a chord or rhythm with your other hand. It's one note at a time. Learning this whole concept is really cool, and I love your video's. Thanks for making them.
Very helpful and well thought out! Thank you an excellent lesson.
Great lesson! Thank you!
I’ve been “practicing” the ukulele off and on for YEARS, but I have never been able to find a niche that would be exciting to “get back into it.” My PTSD and ADHD have been getting in the way. But hopefully I can make progress in learning a few techniques. Thank you for your videos!

Dear marco I am far away from your brillant Talent. I am a beginner and every time I try to play like you I could cry because it sounds awful. Maybe you can make a Video for beginners, very slow and with an easy melody. I like to feel great again 🤣 Anyway I will try Hard and I love the way you play. 🥰

I'm sure it doesn't sound that bad. I started to learn guitar last year and it takes a lot of practice, but I make small progress. Do not compare your self with pros :)
Excellent. Thanks Marco.
Great content! Love it! Happy strumming!
Love your technique and very beautifully demonstrated! Mahalo! 💕🌴
Marco, you and this channel are amazing. It amazes me that you don't have millions of subscribers yet. The way that you present everything is educational, entertaining and inspirational! Bravo, sir!
Thank you Marco! So much new information, very excited!!😊
Wow, mind-expanding. Thank you, Mr. Cirillo.
i love the ease with which you share. I am early player and am a grand improviser - so for me this has been very rewarding and i am eager to learn more finger pic and melody within key.
Beautiful. So much really useful info. Thank You!
That was very helpful. Appreciate you sharing the various techniques.,Thanks so much.
Your videos are a pure joy to watch and hear. Thank you so much for your hard work bringing these to us. Subscribed.
I actually really appreciate this for what it is. This is a man’s process. Not an actual tutorial of right or wrong options. This was helpful for me to put along side my own process and analyze how fruitful it’s been. Sincerely, I found this refreshing. Thank you!
You make it look so easy! Inspiring, thank you.
Very nice inspiring lesson. Thank you for all you do.
Your awesome dude. I’ve been toying with Uke for years and never really stuck with it, it got boring like you said. I find your videos really educational and I like your presence and style. Thanks for the vids, wishing you Well brother
You are mind blowing...thanks for this wonderful tutorial 🔥🔥🎸
Thank you Marco for making valuable, helpful videos such as this one. And thank you for having respect for the instrument. 👍

I love the video. Your such a versatile musician. I have played guitar for years but now playing the Ukulele as well. These steps give a chance for new expression with the Uke. Your clear and concise explanations with examples always makes your video a joy to watch.
Very useful techniques borrowed from Guitar playing that help the novice ukulele player get more out of the instrument. The "percussive" technique is often called the "chuck strum," for those who want to research more. Thank you for all you do!
This is such an amazing tutorial 💜
Hi, Marco. If you ever hear of a great uke player in Réunion island, it might well be because of your teachings! Trying to follow every video including this step by step. Thank so much.

Best ukulele video I've seen for sure
Marco I really enjoyed this small, simple & yet so inspiring video. Every time I see one of your tutorials you make me love my Uke so much more. It's such a beautiful and happy instrument. I really enjoy your style with it and your technique. You make me want to play better each time I see your videos. Have you made an Instrumental CD of you playing the Ukulele? I would like to purchase one if you do. Also I know you also play the guitar but, honestly, which one do you prefer now that you also play the Ukulele?
Nice, thank you for sharing.

i just love love love your videos. You are my fave teacher and fave uke player! Will I ever get as good as you lol.... I aspire to, more more practise
Awesome video thanks
Been playin the uke for maybe a week now and I can’t stop playing I haven’t went a day without playing yet and it’s actually crazy how much stuff I just did randomly or by accident that actually ended up sounding cool and ended up being a real chord that exists I’m sort of getting into the “finger style” way of playing now just plucking inside and outside strings while switching back and forth from gmaj to gm and it sounds pretty cool awesome video I will be trying these little techniques and check out the g Maj scale as well thank you sir👏🏻
Thanks Marco
Your filming and editing is terrific. This is a great tutorial - if I do this everyday for the next year I might have something that sounds ok 😅
It's very good. It is steps. It is correct habit in practicing those steps. It is those steps in time. In rhythm and pace of learning. Technical and typical for any fretboard really. Get comfy . Learn names. Shapes. And positions. Then play them smoothly. Then be glad ! It's rather easy & not steel string guitars!
Really excellent. The only thing I could add is the obvious point of really listening to what you're doing and so being able to integrate any new variations you discover by accident, if that really exists, into of your act.
Wish i could copy your music sense like in the Matrix. Gr8 content. Only tutor i found whos not plugging their Patreon every chance they get
A wonderful demonstration of how to progress a basic player to a professional player. Marco have you thought about setting up a step by step course to help people progress through these steps - I’d definitely sign up!
