Thanks for the encouragement Malte, very relatable message.
Do you find acrylics a better medium than oils for fine details on smaller miniatures? I'm experimenting with oils and have found it difficult to achieve the same level of precision I get with normal miniature paints.

Yes absolutely. I would'nt want to paint the lion with oils for instance. But larger models, especially with a lot of skin tone - i'd prefer oils for those. Different mediums with different strengths imo.
