Thanks for making this. They are supposedly finishing the metro line to going to the airport in March, meaning you could skip the bus and take the train directly.

I have never used, but if they take you to your door the price is so-so. You’re better off ordering Uber (go upstairs to arrivals T1) since it’s all yours and non-stop. If that price is just to drop you at a bus-stop or central point, that is total rip-off.

It has now re-opened after the pandemic for Wingo flights. You can walk 5mins to Riba Smith. Opposite there is the bus stop and that’ll get you to Albrook terminal. You can also get the free wifi at Novey or Riba and order an Uber.

Thanks for this info. Could you please tell me how early and often the buses to Albrook Mall from Coronado run during the week? I'll be visiting Coronado soon and will be taking the bus from Albrook to Coronado. Also, do you catch it by Rey's Supermarket?

We often do the same trip to Coronado, since we often stay there. You take a chiva (white aircon minibus) or coach (even colder aircon so be ready) from inside the Albrook terminal (as opposed to the outside area opposite the mall and Super99). If arriving by Metro, once you come down the escalator or elevator turn right and buy. ticket at one of the offices for a bus there that is heading that way, for example to Santiago. If you ask any of the people sat in the ticket offices, they will direct you to the right one because it depends who is there and which goes next, it’s not a very big place. There can be big lines at rush hour or before the weekend/holidays especially. Regarding Rey, I presume you mean in Coronado: you will pass Rey on your left, it is about 30 metres before the bus stop, which is a few metres in front of the foot bridge over the highway. McDonalds is next to the bridge on your left. Once over the bridge enter the only road there that branches off the highway, Av Eisenmann, which goes direct to Playa Coronado and you can get a taxi from the line of them there, $2. Coming the other way is $1 but shared. Alternative is a taxi from the bus stop, but it will have to drive a while before it can turn around so it costs a bit more. maybe $3 or $3.50. If you can I’d recommend getting off the bus, going to Machetazo and buying your things, then take a taxi from outside Machetazo so you get the supermarket run done with, same cost. Or if you’re willing to cross the bridge with your bags, Rey is there. You can hail a cab from the exit of Rey if none, by giving a shout to the cabs waiting in the line on Av Eisenmann.

Use this video and at Albrook (end of the metro line) take a coach. You can ask if a double decker is available at the ticket booths, but they will leave you besides the highway and you will need to take a taxi or small bus to your exact destination.

So you can buy a rapid pass card at the airport? Everyone else I've looked people say you cannot buy a metro card at the airport.
