Honestly, you deserve more recognition. Your guides are always the best I've seen. I already have watched a couple of them and the way you talk changes my whole perspective. I don't quite know how to put it, but it's like it flips a switch in my head that helps me improve massively. It's actually crazy how things can change when you approach something with a different mentality. Solid advice even outside of gaming.

Great advice regardless of the skill level anyone is at. Its easy to get discouraged as a beginner when your goal may be to get a 1 k/d, and the good players stomp all over you. Just as it is easy to stop improving when you have become the "stomp", and believe you are the best. Thats also when you start to tilt easier, because you just know you are better than the people who kills you. Its as you say, accept what you can't controll. Worse players will kill you alot of the time, many things are random and situational awareness is needed. After becoming much better at fps games over the past 10 years, its has also become much easier to get angry and frustrated, even tho im much better. This has encouraged me to take a step back and reflect a bit. Im better than average, i can top the scoreboards, but i still got alot to learn. Make myself improve, and make the process of gaming fun again.

Thank you reapz, I've recently come to the conclusion that I wanna get better as a gamer, upgrade my pc and maybe even consider streaming in the future. I also want to start focusing on the learning aspect of games instead of just being road blocked by my current understanding and ego. This is just what I needed. Cheers for this and everything else, you do man, honestly one of my favourite content creators ever! Keep it up, we love you!

Good vid, love to see improvement guides that go more into mindset rather than hard analysis & basic setting stuff To add to the whole mindset thing - I think a big problem of people who ask questions like 'how do i get good' is not having a clear motivation for why they actually want to get good whether it be to destroy people or whatever, and using that motivation to drive the 'tryhardiness' that they need to put in. I've also noticed these people often lack understanding of the time and consistent commitment required to 'get good', hence the blanket question.

Always a pleasure when I see a Reap post. Listen I'm not the best battlefield player I only have a 3.16KD But hes right I find myself doing the best when I simply don't care about the outcome and I'm actually relaxed. When I try and I'm sweating my balls off for some reason, I can never do as well.

I have a tough time with the COD franchise specifically. I have swings in performance due to SBMM. I watch kill cams and see clueless players killing me because of extreme aim assist on controller (which I’ve tested and can confirm grants an unskilled controller player like me free kills). How do you recommend rationalizing problems like this and getting around them? I’m all about not making excuses and getting down to work IF the field is level and someone truly beat me fair and square.

Mnk is better than Controller as soon as Aim Assist is off or is weak. But I would argue its better even when its strong. Also, play without Crossplay on if it bothers you that much, but I bet you will complain about shit anyways. That mindset will not bring you anywhere. On Mnk you got better accuracy on long range and midium range and in a game like CoD MW19, Console players have a dozen disadvantages that you dont have when you play from PC. If you want an "even playing field" play games without crossplay? There are popular games that dont need Crossplay to find matches. Btw, the only game that really has Bullshit Aim Assist is Halo, in Halo that shit tracks you without even having to move the right analog stick. Thats the only broken ass game with such an Aim Assist in Multiplayer. Apex or Cods AAs arent nearly as Overpower. What about when in Games such as Rainbow 6 Siege, even tho Im on Consoles with a Controller, I still face MnK players? And that game doesnt even have AA? Im playing controller vs mnk in a game were headshots instakill you and with guns that have absurd recoil. What about Battlefield? Were the AA is very weak (compared with Halo, CoD or Apex that is) and in Competitive Matches AA is straight up turned OFF while I still face MnK players? Console players always faced uneven match ups too, its not a PC only issue. Lets not even talk about SBMM, that shit is objectively braindead and bad game design.

Tbh with u Nameless King kinda pointed everything out really well, SBMM will group you heavily based on performance, u do better you verse better hence your performance may seem worse but its because ur versing better players, Aim assist and SBMM in games is something u have to basically accept, i personally dont play games like that and I find Aim Assist ridiculous in many games.
