Okay, so I know that this is five years old, and new horizons is literally coming out tommorow, but I want to clarify some things about some of the things that weren't fully explained about the special tools. My intent of posting this is not negative to this video at all, what's explained is well done, just some important things were missed. Axes It was stated that better axes don't break. That's half true, he silver axe can still break, however, it has many more uses then regular. Gold is the only unbreakable axe. Watering can It was just simply stated that better cans water more, but didn't note that silver water five flowers in a + shape, where gold waters nine flowers in a square, the center for both shapes being the flower in front of you. Shovels The only use noted was growing money trees, but that's only available with the gold shovel, no use for silver was stated. With the silver shovel, there is a chance that when hitting a rock that would pop out bells, it will instead pop out ore, which can be very useful for getting golden furniture as all ores can pop out. Those are all the details I wanted to fully explain. Hope this was helpful for anyone who was curious. If anyone notices anything wrong with this, let me know so I can revise my statements please.

+Tremaine Thomas If you mean like the actual creation of the design of the paths, unfortunately I'm not the creator. I downloaded the QR codes for them online. All I really did was place them down around my town :P

I was able to buy the gold net, shovel, fishing rod, and watering can I only had the game for a month. Because I went to the island one day and they were there to buy.

I'm having a problem where the museum shop will only sell the museum floor, the museum wall, the display cases and the silver rod. I've met the requirements for the silver shovel but they just won't sell it.

I saw a silver slingshot on two silver balloons and shot it down. I picked it up and had it in my inventory but then the game card was removed. It has been around two months and i have shot down every single balloon i see, but i still don't get the silver OR gold slingshot. Is this normal?

siddika asaria something that might help if you didn't know: balloons spawn every 10 minutes when the last digit of the time is a 4, and they will come from either the east or west side of your town. 10:04, 10:14, 10:24, etc.

What BUGS me is that I have 29 bugs donated for the silver net. So close...

I'm not sure if I'm super unlucky or what, but for the past couple weeks of having the museum shop I haven't _once_ seen the silver rod! I know I have more than 30 fish donated, but it just hasn't appeared. I have almost all of the other silver tools, but the rod, axe*, and can, and is really bugging my OCD Do you have any tips? (*i plan on getting the gold axe first, skipping silver entirely. I don't feel like going to the island repeatedly.)

Immediately after purchasing the 50th one, Lief will mention it and give you the golden shovel :3

With the gold shovel, does that mean you can triple how much is planted, like 10,000 bells becoming 30,000 once the tree is fully grown?

Just a question about tools themselves... I've had New Leaf for about a week, maybe a little bit less, and every time I've gotten to the Nooklington Store (Still at it's first step, just to mention.) the two tools have always been a fishing rod and a shovel. Do I need to wait a little bit longer for other tools to appear, or is there something wrong with my game?

You have to also have at least 1 real painting too. Then like eventually blathers will have a thought bubble and will ask if you can build the second floor as a public works project

So I've got all the fish and diving creatures but when talking to chip he doesn't give me the option to show the encyclopedia and get the rod any ideas why??? 😅 I 100% have them I got the badge from phineas

This reply might be a little late, but just looking it up you aren't the only one running into that issue. Some people said try talking to him multiple times (maybe without fish in your inventory?) so that might help
