Agreed - I think walking mutiple shorter routes is better though - i've never heard of someone getting more then 1 per route

Not rare. Mine show up near the end of the route typically. I usually get 2 if it shows up, and they say you can only earn 3 per day. Never found a 3rd in a single day though

I hope they make route creation available to more people soon. I live in a smaller town with many landmarks but few active players and I already created about 80% of the new pokéstops here for the past few years. Of course, we don't have any routes yet and I also don't have access to creating them, so I just feel stuck. The nearest city with an active playerbase is also a 3 hour drive away, so going there to grind is not exactly feasible either.

It’s good to know that at least you have to chance to get multiple Zygarde Cells per Glowing Orb. It would’ve been painful if each orb was just one Cell.

I wonder if there’s a chance that we can somehow affect the odds to get MORE Cells. Since Zygarde is a Dragon/Ground Type Pokémon, I wonder if having a Mega active of either type will affect the cell count for each glowing orb (obviously berries are out of the question, because you can’t really “encounter” these Zygarde cells)

@You did have Charizard X on at the time of collecting those Zygarde cells..

Currently, Zygard is ranked 1st in PvPoke for the Master League. It has an overall ranking of 97.9, which is pretty high.

This is bull ish I've walked and driven the only route I've found and NADA

ATTENTION BEFORE YOU CREATE ROUTES IN RURAL AREAS: If you only have two stops, then do more of what Dax did. Create loops. Don't walk straight from one stop to the other. I bet there will be benefits for longer routes. And I bet, as for Stops, once a route is existing it will be harder/impossible to get another one accepted.

This would help if people were actually fully able to make routes, especially in the rural areas😢

I like how his videos have EXACTLY what you were looking for and more, with detailed in depth explanations on everything.

You forgot to toss on your daily incense or any kind of incense while on the route because they are much more effective while on routes and therefore if use the daily incense on one then you're more likely to encounter a galarian bird.

I said I can't do them too often. I don't have a raid group in my town anymore after Remote Raid Passes became a thing and although, yes I could do smaller tier Raids, The rewards and Pokemon are hardly worth driving/walking to. Thus, I don't raid too often and I don't spend money on the game, I rely on Gym earned coins that I currently use to increase Storage rather than for passes.

Daxi great video as usual for you bro can you just let the community know to NOT bother trying for the cells yet.. I spent 3 hours out walking routes and didn’t get one! Personally I’m going to wait for a bit till something changes because this was a huge waste of time for me!

Thanks for the breakdown of how it functions. There’s clearly a lot of bugs in this feature. Level 46 and don’t have access to create a route yet and can’t find any routes near me. Hopefully they will get this fixed and update soon

in my location there are not any routes but also you cannot create new ones - checked with dozen of ppl and this option is simply not available (regardless of lvl - checked up to 50lvls) :| Which makes the Zygarde task and below thing from Blaze New Trails as complete joke. "2/3 distance to earn Buddy Candy while exploring Routes with your buddy"

Routes are unavailable still in a surprisingly large amount of places. Like, I live in one of the biggest cities on the west coast. Just a few blocks from the best place to play PoGo in the state. Not only are there no routes, you also cannot create them yet. I hope they roll this on our pretty fast.

I managed to get a perfect IV zygarde! I have walked about five routes so far, however, no luck at all on Zygarde cells 😭

Sadly, it’s not level based. I’m almost level 50 and I do not have access to create any Routes yet my brother, who is level 47 has access to it. He has had access for a month and a half. Those that got to trial the route system are the only ones able to still make routes currently in the routes that are up right now or put there by the people that trial this starting in June.

I diddnt find any zygarde cells when I did a route, and I also diddnt get any rewards from finishing the route. I feel like this might need some fixing.

Unfortunately this new update is not working like it shows the route thing but it doesn’t let me access nearby routes or let me create my own routes I hope they fix that bug before the event ends

Preach i got no routes in my town. They taken the missions from ingress and let off most of the staff so no one can approve it. It's going to be a shitshow for atleast a month.

Man what the hell. This update could have been SO GOOD. Routes could give rural players loads of opportunités to play with few stops... but I have to go around 80km to get to the closest route. I feel like there's only 1 in my entire country

@MisterKetch exactly. 250 is an absolute joke. I play on a daily basis, including pvp, and I have no interest in grinding 250 cells if I'm getting 1 or 2 an hour. No chance.

I need to make some routes, there are none near me. Well, there's one that goes around and circles back to this one spot, but I have to walk out to it to use it. Much easier to make them around my local area.

The ‘rute’ vs ‘rowt’. Rute is more the UK English version where as rowt is more North American. I’m sure people understand regardless. I’m looking forward to having more routes pop up in my area, I went looking yesterday to a very popular area and there was nothing nearby, we’ll see how things develop..

I had just finished hatching a 91% shiny riolu and then I claimed my zygarde… It was 15/15/13!!! I am so happy finally not upset with Niantic! Now if only my last riolu egg can hatch a 2nd shiny…

there is not a single route in my half of the city and im not likely to be in the northern half any time soon. it would be cool if we could suggest routes in a way similar to pokestop nominations but i suppose maybe NZ'ers are getting rolled again as usual by the new features lol. unless there is a level limit greater than 40 that i've missed.

I have submitted four routes. I found it to be a bit buggy. I was walking in a straight line and it curved off to the side, into someone's house. I do wonder if they will be approved and if so how long it will be. There are no routes around here so hopefully at least one will get approved.

I’ve done the same route 73 times and only have 1 zygarde cell…

The fact that there are NO routes in Manchester (UK's second largest city) just shows how silly this whole event is overall. I've checked the city centre and branched out a fair bit and still not a SINGLE route which is insane for a city this size.

There’s only one route “close” to me. I walked it twice and didn’t find a single cell

When there's no routes at the park yeah I'm probably not going to finish that research anytime soon

I’m sorry to say this but, for one, catching one of the route exclusive pokemon spawns takes one of your three possible cell spawns, so if u caught three route exclusive Pokémon in one route, you wouldn’t get any cells, and two, you have to walk different routes to get cells, if you walk down a route you’ve already walked down, it won’t give you any cells

Still don’t have access to Routes or the ability to submit Routes. And, the event bonuses ended and I couldn’t benefit at all from them. So that sucked. Great video though ! Just wish I coulda participated. This roll out just killed my desire to grind it out.

I’ve had an incense on and did one route back and forth 1km each way and didn’t see one cell so I wonder if the incense overrides that spawn. I also didn’t see any route specific spawns so I might have screwed myself

Niantic are removing some routes from the game. There were 4 in my area, but today only 1 showed up on the map. Also I was able to make routes, in fact, one already got approved and showed up on the map, but it wouldn’t let me make routes today.

My toon has no routes but has some perfect nature trails. I really need to lear how to set some up so I can even do this
