I only spent 879 Diamonds for Speed up all eggs, instead of filling up Adult Hornacle for 3.375 diamonds!😁✌🏻
If you want to get this monster quickly, you can use Diamonds.
However, if you want to play casually, be patient and wait next event.

Adult Hornacle is an Adult Celestial Monster representing the Water Element and the month of January. It was added on December 27th, 2023 during Version 4.1.2, though was not obtainable until January 1st, 2024. It is obtained by ascending an awakened young Hornacle during the month of January by zapping all of the required eggs and then using 10 Keys. Unlike young Celestials, adults can earn Keys as well.
Ascension :
Adult Hornacle is obtained by zapping all of the required eggs into a Hornacle and then using 10 Keys for it to ascend. It is only available for the month of January (31 days). If the inventory is not completed by that time, Hornacle will remain as a young Monster and all eggs inside are lost. Unlike Rare Wublins, who are obtained in a similar method, Hornacle remains awake and playing as its inventory is filled. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural Islands.
Filling In :
Like other Celestials, Adult Hornacle can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 75 Diamonds for regular eggs, with the amount for Flex Eggs varying by its type. Adult Hornacle requires a total of 3,375 Diamonds for all eggs to be filled.
Since all non-Flex eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.
Wildcards can not be used to fill in Flex Eggs, but they may be used for filling other eggs in Adult Hornacle's inventory. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters, such as Seasonals.
Income :
Adult Hornacle, like all other adult Celestials, will produce Coins, Diamonds, Treats, Shards, and Keys, but at no specified rate, although always less than a day.
Multiple adult Hornacles may produce any of these five currencies independently from each other: Coins, Shards, Treats, Keys, and Diamonds.
Notes :
- Adult Hornacle is the only zapping Monster in the game that requires an egg that can only be zapped from Magical Sanctum, that being Carillong (if available in Market).
- Adult Hornacle was the first Monster to release in 2024.
*It was also released the earliest in a year out of any Monster in the original game, releasing on the 1st of January, beating Rare Clamble by a day.
*Although, it was added to the Book of Monsters 5 days before, so an argument can be made that it wasn't actually released, but instead only made available on January 1st.
