I am coming from the US to Umea to do my student teaching this coming spring 2023(this is not a exchange student program it is something special). I am looking to come teach in Sweden permanently. I am learning the language. Do you have any tips for my particular field. Just be aware, the housing market is crazy here. Where most of the job is, it's really hard to find a place to live.

If you study in Sweden as an international student you automatically have the right to work alongside your studies, so yes! I'm sure you'll need to do some paperwork first in order to sort out the insandouts, but you are technically allowed to work, as long as you priorities your studies ~
