    I lived in Sweden for a bit during my undergraduate studies and I am very much considering moving back but I am finding it quite difficult to find out how to move there without some already established ties. When exploring employment, it seems very tough to even find opportunities to begin with since I have no clue where to start but hopefully I can make this a reality soon

    I am also looking for ways to move to Sweden. I have no ties to make the move easy and it all seems very confusing and difficult, sadly 😢

    Yea, one need a connection to sweden to get a resident permit, temporary or permanent! Visas is for entering the country, in moste cases for 90 days, as a visitor.. or longer if one applyed for that! What one probably want is a resident permit, to be able to stay longer then 90 days, and those is temporary at first and after several updates it can come permanent.. one dont need to apply for citicenship! Refuges seldome have any VISA, they just show up and applyes for asylium, and get scrutinised individualy! Student VISA is quite common, EU/Shengen area student only apply for resident permit, after they got acceptance for study! Non EU/Shengen area students altso need a student VISA! Its this, make sure ones studies is more then 13 months.. becuse thats the limit to get a swedish "personnummer".. and thats importante if one like to work at ones weekends and get some extra money! And one realy need a "personnummer", and a swedish ID card/mobile bank ID/Swish! And then to a "Golden VISA", there is non.. but there is companies that help you if you is able to invest 1 millions EUR in sweden, plus there fees, plus lawyers helping you write a bussines plan and have enough money to sustain your self.. several years! Then you can get a resident permit.. but one dont need to live here to own a company here! In anyway there is India comunity in sweden, many high skilled IT enginers, that got a job at some of our bigger world leading companyes!

    S people can't just move there like to retire from the United States?

    @@LORDRA1DEN Exactly.. its like in the most parts of the world! A 90 days visa.. to visit sweden! One get it on arrival at the airport.. if one have a passport, that not need an approval befor arrival! To sort it out.. VISA is temporary.. standard 90 days.. kinda tourist, student VISA, as long as ones study, job VISA, as long as your job contract! There is others.. I have relatives in sweden and want to visit them more then 90 days! Or.. my son/daughter lives in sweden.. im getting old, they need to take care of me at old age.. its often the children that applyes for this! Soo, after relatives VISA, and student and job VISA.. there is spouse VISA, I meet a swedish girl/guy.. im in love, I want to move to Sweden to develope our relationship! Thats fair enough.. but one need to apply for a spouse VISA in your own country, get interwieved at nearest swedish embasy! In USA its easy, could take a few months, in Asia and Africa, it could take a year! Its mostly about "trafficking"! And at last.. retieriees frome USA, no differens.. exept if one have a lot of money, buying property, paying swedish taxes, at least for that property! And then, the differens between VISA, resident permit, and getting a citicenship! VISA is for foreginers that visit a country.. there is a pletora of those, shorter or longer! Resident permits, could apply for long time VISA holders, in best case one get treathed as any other citicen! Make sure your VISA is at least 13 months, to be consider getting a "resident permit".. thats mostly for student and job VISAS! For spouse VISAs, its temporary I belive in the begining.. make sure to register and do all other things thats normal in Sweden.. to get a permanent resident permit! Soo, getting a permanent resident permit, one dont need to be a swedish citicen, but lives and applyes to all other things that swedish citicens need to do! After living in sweden for 7 years and fullfilled all other obligations one can apply for a swedish citicenship, one dont need to get rid of other citicenships!

    To those of you who think all your problems will be solved by emigrating to Sweden, think again. Even if you make every effort to integrate, you will never feel completely a part of Swedish society. It's not because Swedes are racist (though an increasing number are) or because you didn't try hard to integrate. In European ethnic states, non-natives WILL ALWAYS be considered foreigners. Even your children and grandchildren. This will cause resentment among non native immigrants, especially the 2nd generation, and will feed an inferiority complex that will last for generations. These minority groups will then try to force acceptance by claiming systemic racism and demand government intervention (often financial, racial quotas, etc.). Instead of looking to escape your own native land, then try to change the country you've moved to, why not just make your native land the way you want it to be?

  • @leifnielsen837

    @leifnielsen837

    @@jasminemayy It's not a dislike of foreigners. It's that foreign cultures are often incompatible with native culture and result in conflict. This is a fact that has been proven over and over again, in every European country where large numbers of foreigners have immigrated. Foreigners will eventually, when they are large enough in number, try to alter the culture and laws of their new country that is often in opposition to the preferences of the original natives. Some recent examples. In Finland, racial minorities are now demanding quotas in regard to university admission so that they'll be preferred over native Finns. In Britain, just a few weeks ago, the military is now giving preferential treatment in regard to acceptance at military academies to non native racial minorities over native British people, just because there are too many native British in their own military. If you have children in Sweden, whether they're biracial or not, they are 99% likely to have an inferiority complex in regard to native Swedes and they will wish they were a native ethnic Swede. They will either grow up just feeling inferior OR they'll react against native Swedes in order to feel better about themselves (or, they'll try to get more non-natives to immigrate too, so they won't feel as inferior). This doesn't mean they actually are inferior. They'll just feel that way. They wouldn't have this problem if they were raised in your native land. I wish you would answer my question. Why don't you just make your native land (with people with your own culture) the way you want it to be?
