In my case, your chanel is about what my father did tell me about shaving when I wasn't listening. At the time I was a know - it - all young punk. Thanks to you I have mastered the shaving brush. Just as my late father,I now look at shaving as being one of the great pleasures in life.

Very nice video Mark. I found that a shaving scuttle helps out a lot with my post shave quality by at least 10 fold. Can't go wrong with warm lather at all.

I’m glad you said very little pressure!!! I know you’re supposed to let the razor do the work but a lot of people say no pressure at all!!! Like yeahhhh right you said it perfectly 👌

I hold my razor almost still and move my chin around it. It works well for me.

Blade buffing has worked for me. I also figured out that if I used Burt's Bees aftershave cream, I can apply it thickly then take a quick pass over problem areas and I have had excellent results with that trick.

Definitely a difficult area. I find that developing a "muscle memory" over time helps tremendously. Short strokes the way forward!

I use conditioner in the shower to soften the stubble along with pre shave oil and it cuts off easy with a hot razor run under the faucet

I’ve been shaving with a Merkur Futur set at 2-3, Col Cronk and Proraso soaps, and a witch hazel aftershave. Regardless of the blades I use, I get razor burn under my chin when I go ATG (my technique is WTG then ATG). It usually comes around Wednesday. I don’t shave on the weekend and use a fresh blade Monday. I don’t grow hair crazy fast…do you think I should be changing the blades every couple days instead of weekly (5 shaves)? I found you from Reddit...great vids...Completely subscribed..

You should get rid of your safety razor and switch to a cartridge razor. You will never, ever have razor burn under your chin with a cartridge razor.

After you have made your final pass using buffing..and if you still have a little stubble...I know this is a sin..but my fusion razor seems to take care of the final stubble..with out shaving cream and no skin rash...don't use this often, but when nothing else works......This doesn't mean you should go back to your old fusion...you have much more fun DE shaving and saving a lot of money in a year.and fusions don't work well on a 3/4 day beard..

2:00 Under the chin is the most difficult area for me to shave. No matter what products I use, I can't get it smooth under my chin at all. Like wth?🤦

Stop using a safety eraser. With a cartridge razor, you will never, ever have cuts, nicks, and razor burn. And your shave under your chin will be perfect, smooth and close. It really makes no sense to use a safety razor.
