Honestly for new wavers just don’t give up and don’t slack on brushing . It takes about a month or two to get waves (they come in forky) than just comb your hair and major brush work in the mirror. (edit 2021) I got rid of my waves and grew my hair out shout-out to my waves though 🌊

You got any advice for the sides? Idk if it’s waves coming in or I’m not brushing right cause when I do the sides it looks like it’s nappy. It also looks like that when I do the back sides.

Konoha Leaf sides took me along time to get don’t stress. If anything the sides are hardest to get ur waves in my opinion, give ur side more attention maybe that’s the reason

New barber here! I only have one young waver that comes to me so far but he's been a regular since day one. I am mixed and want to start waving again. Had waves years ago but didn't take it serious. With this quarantine I think it's a great time to get back into it. How often do you use the product like 360 wave butter? Since that is not available what is another good product to use? Do you usually apply that product dry or wet? Does it even matter? How often do you wash your hair?

Don't tie it as tight. It might not remove the lines on your head but it doesn't leave it in deep or for a long time.
