One of the biggest challenges I see salespeople face is their lack of confidence.
Here's the thing, if you're not confident in yourself...how can you expect others to be confident buying from you!
So in this video, we're going to show you how you can build up your sales
confidence to become a more effective seller.
Here are some of the things we'll cover in this video:
1) Preparation: Make sure to plan and rehearse what you'll be saying during your sales meeting.
2) Experience: Get as much sales experience as you can. Reflect on what you did well and not so well and make improvements to your sales approach.
3) Stay Motivated: Find a higher purpose in why you decided to get into sales in the first place. Also, setting deadlines helps light the fire!

Hey Patrick, I have just started working in a Business Development profile which is completely new to me. I was given a link to few of your videos by one of my colleague who found them helpful too. I won't shy away from saying that the content has really helped me to understand things from a base level which I believe is very important when you start something new. Thank you for your role in my journey of learning this.

I’m new to commissions as a sales rep. This is a totally new world to me. I’d like to learn how to do a follow-up call, especially if I called and left a couple messages. What should I say if they pick up after the third call. I work at a sewing shop and I get commission on any sewing machine I sell. I’m still learning about the machines and do demos once I learn them. It’s hard for me to close a deal with the larger machines worth $20K+, I’m not too familiar with them and though I am doing research, I worry about losing the sale. I try to get reach that “pain” point when talking to the customers, but that’s hard for me because I don’t like asking personal questions. It’s uncomfortable for me. I feel intrusive. And I really don’t know what to say if the customer mentions a pain point. I just stay quiet. It’s awkward. But I really want to break through that so that I can make the sale without being pushy or uncaring.

You have to be an expert on both the product and the prospect so that you can have an intelligent conversation where both of you are engaged. A two way conversation. Your preparation has to be of the highest quality.
