My mom gave me an old George foreman grill. I was going to give it away because I thought the only thing it was probably good for was hamburgers and I don’t eat beef. But I like eggs, and I saw your suggestion for French toast and someone else is for grilled cheese. So I think I’m gonna try that. Thank you from me

I cook eggs on my foreman every day. Works like a champ. No pun intended. ... flip them early and keep the lid open or else the yolks get too cooked and arent runny. You also have gotta use cooking spray or they get that burnt look and burnt egg taste. Same as if you were to cook them on an un greased pan. No bueno. These eggs look over cooked and in no way over easy. But it can be done! Just dont cook 5 at a time lol. You can also make one hell of an omlet by scrambling the eggs up and pouring it on. Close the lid for about a minute.. And when u open it up.. Its all completely cooked. Love it. dont forget to level your grill out though.

just wanted to state you dont need a foreman... any regular panini press or sandwich maker will do the job. even easier if you take two slices of bread, make a well in the bottom slice and pout the egg in. drop the second slice on top and let it sit for about 3-5 mins for a well cooked egg sandwich (add veggies, meat, fish as you like) simple but effective

I was watching all these great videos on you tube about cooking with a Foreman grill and went to the thrift stores and I bought a George Foreman grill at the Goodwill for $1.50 !!! For Breakfast I had eggs and ham in a burrito and grilled everything on my 'new' grill and I even put the burrito on the grill and it turned out delicious !/:P The whole thing took about 10 minutes. Then for lunch I Cooked a turkey burger and toasted the buns on the grill along with some grilled taters. Took about 10 minutes. For dinner I stir fried some veggies and put in some cooked/cooled rice, seasoned it and it was Delicious ! With this one I put some aluminum foil on the grill so it wouldn't get stuck in the raised part of the grill plates. It took less than 5 minutes to cook. These grills are great !

Good idea. Tried it on my little grill. Worked good but the non-adjustable temperature is too hot. The eggs are easy to overcook. My solution was to steam the tops by adding a spoonful of water immediately before clapping on a suitable lid. Break the eggs on the grill, add the water and lid in 5 seconds or so. Move quick. Dally and your eggs turn out like rubber. Anyway, nice challenge but high in failure potential. Do it once or twice just for fun but if more effective ways of frying eggs are available, use them. OTH, a Forman grill heats a pan just fine. Use it like a hotplate, especially the models that have reversible plates. The smooth side is just right for most low heat cooking.

Then I remove egg, place on toast with cheese, then put sandwich back in grill for 20 seconds to melt cheese & warm bread. Breakfast in under 5 mins!

Fry ups are all about keeping the eggs and bacon hot while you wait for your sausages, fried potatoes and shrooms etc. to cook. Some grills have the flat surface plates that are interchangable, making things easier when cooking eggs.

Very impressed that the eggs actually cooked on the grill part and didn't sink into the grooves. Have to try this.

It did not sink into the grooves because it did not want to disturb this groove making The System mad.

As a homeless person I spend about $20 a day on food this will help me save money I could got to dollar tree and get eggs turkey bacon only two dollars and pick up a pack of pancakes and syrup and make a nice breakfast i will save at least $15 to $10 dollars a day depending on how much I cook for the day I’m on the Omad diet so I only try to eat one meal a day at $15 dollars in savings say if I only ate on $5 a day that $402 saving a month I could save I couldn’t believe I was spending that much in food absolutely ridiculous!!

@@txcinsta5176 UPDATE: I have got the grill copper coating its wonderful easy to clean I cooked on it so far pancakes, chicken, salmon, cow heart, croissants, bologna, and burgers... you cook just about anything on it and good news is I found a portable electric wok someone was throwing away I'm going to use it to cook beans noodles and boil eggs so everything really worked out for me with the cook gadgets! Side note: the cow heart was not my type of thing I wanted to try it was only $2 for the thing big piece but I think it would be better cooked as a roast
