Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
The most common problem I see with Frontside 50 50’s On Mini Ramp is people tend to hang up when they attempt to come back in. In this video I talk about a few techniques I use to Fs 50 50 On a Mini Ramp.

Finally done this after years of avoiding it. Now it opens my world up to loads more tricks!
Such an underrated channel, I think it's so sick how you're grinding out these videos so hard
I love your videos... started skating about a year ago at 33, started skating transition 10 months ago, just tried front side 5050s last week and got them but couldn’t do the drop in... finally got it yesterday! Woo hoo!
Thanks Chad! I’ll try this today. I struggle so hard with FS. Spent my whole childhood only doing BS and since getting back into it as an adult I’ve been wanting to start doing FS.
for those that fear the hop, try shifting the weight of your back foot heel side while at the same time pivoting and having a seat in a straight back chair. good luck!
Tips that helped me learn this: 1. Position your front foot further over the board edge; 2. Crouch more; 3. Look back into the ramp under your front armpit; 4. Barely lift the front truck as you come back in.

I have been trying to learn these recently, I have found I dont commit with my back foot. Did you have this problem? If so how did you overcome it?
They way you break down step by step to do the tricks are awesome bro been helping my progress
This is some great insight, Chad. I struggle big time with FS. Thanks!!!
The best trick tutorials on the net. I've had success with several bucket list tricks after watching these great video's. Props dude!
Your videos actually helped me, I could now rock to fakie and rock n roll
Nice tips, looking forward to trying them.
Chad with the KZread Grind!!!
Just got bs 5050s on the mini super consistent and felt out a Fs today. It feels so good being on the rail that direction I can already tell it’s gonna be a favorite trick once I get it in full! Thanks for the tips Chad! Ready to film a progression video of this one!!
nice vid. after hanging up and eating crap multiple times learning this, you are definitely right, the little hop is ESSENTIAL! for one of your upcoming videos i'd love to see just a regular frontside ollie tutorial on a mini ramp.

and ollie to fakie :)
thanks chad as always
The scary one! Thanks for the tip Chad! 👍🏼
excellent info Chad, its the hop back in and fear of dying puts me off this so far, can do it on no coping ramps about 3ft, but aarrrh i need balls. weight on back truck,, little hop,Lean forward , perfect thanks.
Just hung up so many times before landing one. Gonna try that hop tip tomorrow.
Got this trick for the first time today!
Nice vid m'y friend don't stop !!! 👍👍👍
Thank you Chad! Been waiting for this one. Will muster up more courage and try your tips this week. The falling blindly back into the ramp aspect of this trick is just as troublesome as the hanging up part for me. Any tips on how to force my body to adjust to it as smoothly as yours look?
To come back I first lift my front truck ,and drop in from a front 5-0 to me it’s easier this way than to do the hop thing front the 50-50, hope this helps 👍.
It seems easier on a round wall to me. And I am really good at doing the last variation that you demonstrated :)
I know how to do this trick but the way you explain it makes the trick more simple. Great explanation on this and other tricks you have taught. Gonna take mine to a bigger ramp!

The hop is key.
Is it harder with a coping that sticks out quite a lot. Thanks 👍👍 love what your doing 🛹🛹
this is the first video i have ever saw filmed at my local skate park lol
I wamt to skate that park!
Try to learn them on something small, so that the fear of turning into the ramp sorta blind isn't too much of an obstacle to overcome. Once you get them good it's almost impossible to hang up anymore.
I always fall back in and knock the wind out of myself
instead of doing the hop you can also make sure your back truck is hanging into the ramp so it's only hung up with the wheel, then you can basically do the same as backside, kickturn out.
Do you tend to stand up both locked all the way on, on half standup grind half in the ramp.
Does it make sense to try dropping in from frontside axle stall? Not that I have been able to do that either...
Hey I'd take a tutorial on frontside indys.
Get Chad to 1M by the end of 2k18
Hi Chad first I would like to say I'm a big fan. I can drop in from 50/50and grind coping.i want to roll in but not ready for it yet but I feel comfortable rolling into 50 50 on coping then trying to drop in is this a bad idea?
i can only do these if i fs powerslide into them, is it technically the same trick this way? thanks!
Most people skate bowls backside. So I started learning these backside aswell, frontside feels really odd to me. i'm goofy
You should try that fake bigspin to blunt. That would be sick!

Hmm might have to try that one..
What is the difference between the 50-50 and the Axel stall?
@Sjur_sm57
2 жыл бұрын
The 5050 is a proper grind (Trucks gliding across the coping), and the Axel stall is just a stall. What you see in this video is an Axel stall. Other than that, the trick is almost identical.
I broke my leg yesterday learning those

Never trying a new trick if I’m too scared ever
This trick is my nemesis. I can do FS Smiths and 5-0s but I always get f*cking hungup and slam on 5050. I do try to hop/ollie off the coping but that doesnt appear to work for me. Could it be that I am just too on the deck and should be more leaned into the bowl?

Skate And Annoy i am the complete opposite i have problwms with Fs 5-0 and smith but 50-50 works fine

This is an indicator that you don't hop enough for the drop. Try practicing rolling from the deck into the ramp in an angle so you get used to that hop motion. for me it fells almost like an ollie without pop. Remember its not a kickturn, so dont focus on manualling in, stay light footed.

I've done quite a few of them already, But after the 3rd hard slam from them over a year, I just gave up ever doing it again. I need to just have time on a smaller ramp instead of having to do it on the bigger stuff.

Skate And Annoy true, small is the key
Call it as it should be called: a FS Axle Stall. You gotta move that Axle Stall in order to call it a "50-50".
