How To Frontside 5-0 On A Mini Ramp

In this video I teach How To Frontside 5-0 On A Mini Ramp
SUBSCRIBE!!! kzread.info?...
It can be difficult when first learning 5-0 grinds to figure out how to do them properly. In this video I give a few tips on how to get into the trick, how to distribute your weight and how to bail out until you feel comfortable.
This trick is going to be one of the main tricks you do on a mini ramp so it’s important to make sure you learn it the correct way. By learning how to 5-0 on top of the coping you gain more control and consistency.
I hope this trick tip was helpful, if you have any questions or trick requests just leave them in the comments below!

    I'm 35 but recently had the urge to skate again, yesterday I got back on a mini ramp for the first time in maybe ten years or more and it went pretty good! Dropped in first try and got a few backside 50-50s off. Here I am today, a little sore and looking at trick tips again haha, feels good though.

    Love your trick tips, the way you break them down, your trick choices. Great editing too. I'd love to see the trick over and over and over even more than you do show them, and some slow motion maybe? The different angles and distances you use are great. Trick requests? How about ollies, with different grabs, to tail, to disaster, frontside/backside, to crooked grind... : ) Either way, thanks for taking the time to put these up.

    Thanks a lot,when ur teaching and when we are learning i feel a lot of vids just rush over stuff,I been just getting back into vert after a short absence 40 years ish,37 actually and when I was 12 I had a lot of fly in me and not really no fear but I blind faith when it comes to learn tricks and technico....I feel u can never be to graphic thanks for the simplified explanation.I've got great front side form still its my prefer kick turn and I'm learn pools at age 54 and big bowls it a challenge and I'm bored...I have a lot of speed that I'm scrubbing because I am not real at home on coping metal or big pool coping,but I make wide fronts and blast along the tile and five O s don't look to far out of reach I have learned quickly to put pressure on my feet to stay on vert and not loose altitude.35 years ago a one wheeler as we called it,I won't think twice about it,now it seems I forgot where I put my weight when I grind,working on it thanks for the pointers,just got my board finished,new indys and score some 61 blue hawk wheels,got knee pads,got a used deck sand its flexing a little and don't fit right but I'm making it work for now,thanks again.piece.I be back wit more questions...not in any rush just trying to find a big half pipe to play in.

    I have a question. I’ve dove a little hop to get back in from my frontside excel stalls and front 5-0s but sometimes if I do it on the steeper transition I either over turn or don’t land into transition at the right angle. So can I just instead of doing a hop just press with my heal so my toe side wheel lifts up and clears the coping to go back in?

    @kellienicolebrooksschettin65985 жыл бұрын

    I was scared of coping especially pool concrete coping because I did not know how to push the grind sorry it was more like the hault than a grind because my trucks just dug in an said get off,but now I know I need to lean back a little to help the grind get a push,I'm skating a 6foot to 10 foot kidney pool at our city park in Florida,no worry s I'm just staying in the shallow end for the five 0 grind I have a big beautiful five 0 style kick turn already perfect in the 10 foot deep end but I just run along the tile because I had no understanding of how to weight the grind so it would not stop me like hitting a truck,I'm too old for slams,so I'm trying to limit them,but at age 54 I'm learning pools and bowls,coming from a half pipe riding background there s a couple of differences in a half pipe u go up an straight down so if u are gonna do a trick its on a straight approach u can close your eyes an know excactly where u are going your not dealing with the bowl curve or the carve so that's just giving me more option and distractions,which is great but my muscles are just used to the half pipe and not a bowl curve,u follar,the biggest part of wood half pipe was the little bit of bounce when slam it was very forgiving,concrete not so,thanks Chad u make me raff.

    Appreciate that Ken! I don’t change much except maybe come at more of an angle and keep turning my shoulders so I can flow with where the transition takes me. Some people do them differently on pool coping and do more of a Fs slash grind but I try to do them on top of the coping
