@@RASHME20That is a situation I am currently in as well. Having trouble forgiving because it keeps happening by the same family member. And unfortunately I do not have the resources to pull myself away yet, and it is a family member so not someone you can easily let go of. What I am learning is the best thing I think to do is firstly accept that things are the way they are. You cannot cannot control them anymore than they can control you. We can Try to create as much distance as we can from those people and when we do have to confront them, to do our best to create boundaries and stick to your true values, and work on empowering ourselves and living in unconditional love. Try to have some empathy. It is extremely hard and will require a lot of effort on our part but there’s not much else we can do when stuck in that situation. There are people like this in the world and we can’t always avoid them but we can learn to deal with them and exercise self control.

we aim forgiveness at ourselves in our culture but it’s a grieving process… and you have to first accept the past which is also a grieving process nobody is ever gonna change how they feel for you you can still self affirm and grieve out how shitty how they feel makes you feel as you get it out of you how they feel bothers you less and less once the resentment you harbour towards yourself for finding yourself in that situation to begin with is gone so is that person from your mind it’s nice when they no longer control you emotionally #2Spirit #indigenous #spirituality #philosophy

Sometimes I think I forgive someone but then when I see them, I get angry all over again. Forgiveness is hard. It's especially hard to let go of anger and resentment that you've built towards them. But you don't want to continue to hold grudges for years because then it will start to affect you. At some point you have to let go. I'm trying my best to not only understand this but live it.

People who knowingly and willingly harm others for their own personal gain believe that forgiveness is a weakness. They are wrong. If you forgive, you get the last laugh, because when you forgive them, and even praise them in spite of their evil deceits and manipulations, your act of compassion heaps Karma upon them. They really hate it when they screw you, and you thank them for it. That is not the reaction they were hoping for! People who cause harm want to provoke their victims to anger and revenge so they may profit by it, but instead, "pour hot coals over their heads" with a benign response, as Jesus taught. Jesus said, "love your enemies, forgive your enemies." When they exhibit no remorse or repentance and continue their malevolent behaviors, the Karmic backlash catches up with them. It boomerangs on them when we respond with compassion instead of anger. Never seek justice in anger because that is the true weakness, and bad people know it. Buddhist teachings are the best kept secrets! And as the Hindus say, forgive, and let Karma do its work.

I had an epiphany on the thought that forgiveness is being weak, or a weakness. It suddenly occurred to me that it's very easy to not forgive someone. It's easy to allow the gravity of anger to pull you along this way and that. What's harder, clearly, is to forgive. It takes effort if someone is not accustomed to it. So to forgive someone is to show strength, and as with most feats of strength, the more you do it, the easier it becomes. But it is always a strength. Never a weakness. Thank you for your talk.

By holding onto the anger she is continually hurt. The other person either doesn't care or is enjoying seeing them hurt over and over. At what point will she let go snd stop hurting herself? Forgiveness is a must. It help to move forward.

Be it known: Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit! I tell ye, truly, Jesus of Nazareth is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. He is the anointed one, for he is, Jesus Christ. God the Father has raised him from the dead; who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God! Angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by him. They who believe and are baptized with the Holy Spirit shall be saved; but they who believe not shall be damned. For they who believe not on him, shall die in their sins! I tell ye now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father! There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you! They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God... Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask: "Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen." 1 John 2:2 KJV 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Acts 13:26-33 KJV 26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, *and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.* 27 *For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.* 28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain. 29 *And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.* 30 *But God raised him from the dead:* 31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people. 32 *And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,* 33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. 1 Peter 3:22 KJV 22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. John 14:6 KJV 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Mark 16:16 KJV 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. John 8:24 KJV 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Acts 2:38 KJV 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Luke 11:13 KJV 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? John 14:21-24 KJV 21 *He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.* 22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, *If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.* 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and *the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.*

When it does happen though you don't even realise until you see that person and say to your self ''I don't hate u any more I feel sorry for you '' I have experienced this once in my life and I'm so grateful I have forgiven as it would mess with my head hating. Forgive and leave it in God’s Hands: “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, o“if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” _ Romans 12:19-21 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly. Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their. trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. _ Matthew 6:14-15

You are so welcome. By writing a letter it brings bad feelings into physical reality. By destroying letter it clears things. It has the same effect as shouting at someone, you feel better briefly but then you may feel bad/guilty . By writing the letter has the same effect but the other person doesn't know. It works for me every time. 💖

I've found that one of the premises of my ability to forgive is realizing that the one who hurt me was a broken person, full of fear, self doubt, and a sense of loss. Case in point: My late mother was physically and emotionally abusive. I ran away from home at age 15. Many years later as I began to discover things about her childhood, about her relationships, and about the disappointments she endured, I saw, clearly, she was broken and lashed out even when she knew what she was doing. She was the loneliest person I had ever known. Now she is dead, and my ardent prayer for her is that God's understanding and divine love, and heavenly healing agencies are working to integrate her, to heal her. And I want her to know that I understand and all is forgiven. It brings me peace, and I hope it restores her in the fullest sense.

I love you and this channel so much, I swear this feels like one of the only stable things in my life. I wish I had an inner voice that knew all the things that you knew. That buddishm knew. I struggle with mental health and struggle with many different aspects of mental health I feel like my mind will never shut up and I’ll never make it out of the hole that is my heart, my brain and my life. But when I’m here and watch these videos I feel closer to peace than I ever have, not entirely because I’m afraid a couple of videos won’t completely heal me. But I’m able to take a clean fresh and cold breath through my system and just for a minute I’m ok. And I’m grateful that you’ve given me this even if it’s just a couple of breaths out of the billions I’ll take in the lifetime.

🤔Very interesting. I've never thought of forgiveness in this manner. It's brilliant! So much of the time, I am in my own head that the only thing driving my anger was what I looked at as things being done to me. It's amazing how much of our lives is negatively effected by our thoughts and feelings about ourselves. I really like the way you worded this. Thank you.

The person who is hurting you is the hurt person: hurt people hurt people. It is the other person's weakness and not yours. When you realise that the other person is in pain then it becomes easier for you to become less hurt by them. You begin to have compassion for the other person, and in turn, true forgiveness comes easier. This takes practice, I know this only too well!
