You are a really cool guy, I made the leap of faith earlier in the summer to invest in an anvil. I was originally just into bladesmithing but I like knowing how to make things and anything I want or need. I am working on some knives, but my first sold blacksmithed product was a ice fishing chisel I made from an old 20lb barbell. Im waiting to hear back from a lady about a toilet roll dispenser I made.

I will definitely keep it in mind. Great little project. Endless ideas with that. Roy keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge on God bless

Another great project with all sorts of options! I use horseshoes to make crosses. I like them with heat bluing, thanks for those tips as well! Keep the videos coming, love them!

@@dgundeadforge17 we do have 2 actually just no blacksmith's it's mostly knock off clothes and pet sellers and house hold stuff

two of my friends said the content would change when the cutting table arrived and Christ centred ironworks started selling blanks, and that would be a shame . they were right unfortunately, it's all about how to forge blanks nowaday, I understand the sales tactics but it is a bit Dull for video content even the live streams have been about blanks. becoming a bit self serving content wise, hope you dont take this the wrong way, always enjoyed the content until recently.

So, what, you really think Roy will be doing nothing but blanks from now on? Really? Look at all of his previous awesome videos, his live streams (where he works, answers questions, and gives away anvils for Pete’s sake.). He has quite the creative streak too. If you are patient, and watch to learn, then get out in the shop and practice, you will notice that Roy’s offerings, like most everything in life, goes in stages, or little chapters if you will. Stick around, show up for something besides the give aways, and I can just about guarantee you will not be disappointed. Maybe grab a blank and see if anything you have learned here will inspire you to use some creativity. that also is a big part of smithing. Now say say Sorry Roy, and stop whining about him not catering to your perfect ideal of a giving for free teacher. Sorry, had to be said.

@@ChristCenteredIronworks well that's unfortunate if your taking it the wrong way, I'm giving you some constructive criticism, both negative and positive by pointing out what I and others I've conversed with think , and hope 🤞that this isn't the way the channel is heading, and please Roy there are many many Smith that are as giving on KZread, that would appreciate some feedback. that dont have channel membership or make a single penny / dime by posting content. maybe saying its self serving is not exactly the right way to put it, which is why I said I hope you don't take it the wrong way.
