Hi! I have a question. This might seem off topic. But I have a bad habit of uninstalling and reinstalling the same apps on my iPhone. For example, installing an app to play a certain game, and then uninstalling the app so I can concentrate on my school works. I heard from online post that this cause data loss to my NAND chip, or a hole in my flash memory??? I was just wondering if this information is true. And if it is, does rebooting/force restarting the iPhone resolve this problem?

Well depends on how much frequency you do that…install a app and delete it and re-install within 2-3days may cause damage

If the app size was like in GB’s it might give heavy load to the IC’s. So, may be it cause the IC to bulge or blown eventually. If you do the process daily.

The app size was 950mb close to 1 gb. I don't do it daily. Probably once or twice every 9 days. But there was one day where I uninstall and reinstall a game app 4-5 times. (Wanted to start the game as a fresh account, but couldn't come to mind of choosing a good username. And the only way to change it is to uninstall and start over) Not sure if that effected my NND or my data storage in general. I heard that write/erase cycles are able to withstand this kind of problem of uninstalling and reinstalling, since they have 1000 to finite of cycles. (I only used up 33 gb of total storage on my phone.) Also, do cache from my installments build up once I delete the app? ​@@dailydoubts

Yes! Cache files be deleted on your iPhone, if you uninstalled
