Great, glad that I could help! Flying Acro is the best thing you can ever do when learning to fly :)

Great series and tips! By the way my friend chased the birds in the similar fashion as in your video and unfortunately hit one from below. In high altitude he managed to stabilize and land the quad, but poor bird got serious injury and dropped down from the sky, not sure if survived. So be careful :)

if you want to do it easy use a frame with battery on top as it rolls flips by its weight balance already just a bit harder to level back. if you have a bottom battery frame it won't flip easy and even at disarmed parashutes down slowly with no flips

What rates do you go for? .70 ok?

what is air mode? is that horizon or acro.?

hey noob question, what's a decent free or at least mega cheap flight simulator to use for quads? I'll be ordering a controller soon and I'll definitely be practising before I even purchase a quad and I'm a student on a budget so looking for tips on sims

Old post but check out fpv freerider...$5 and will work on lower end computers if you adjust graphics options.

Did you switched from Gopro to Runcam? Or is it just a sponsors list?

You have to enable air mode

lol that comment about not worrying about crashing your quad felt like it was aimed at me Jack :D I did my first rolls and flips last weekend. Still on horizon mode though so cheating a little. Only crashed on the first roll (inadvertently did a 'stall roll' with not enough height). One question, what batteries do you use?

best thing I ever did was taking horizon mode off my settings (still use level mode for landing though). make the switch as soon as possible you won't regret it, just get plenty of sim practice until you feel comfortable.

take horizon of off your quad. all it does it tech you incorrect things that you have to unlearn later. and in my humble opinion rate mode is easier to fly fpv than any of the level modes because the quad actually goes in the direction you want it to without trying to fight you.

These guys above are spot on. Take the plundge and fly Acro. If you are struggling, checkout my older videos teaching how to hover etc. I fly Tattu 1300mah 4s 75C Race Edition batteries. Cheers!

I would have to disagree with doing flips first doing rolls are easier because you can keep the horizon in your view the whole time so it's a little bit easier to come out of it

It would be great if you produce and publish your videos in 60 fps. Big difference (for me at least).

Ross Sage I bought Liftoff a couple of days ago and I'm really enjoying it, I dont have the dongle yet for my tx so im using my xbox one controller :P I found one on hobbyking but its currently out of stock in the eu warehouse but if I would buy it in the international warehouse I would have to pay the price of the dongle for the delivery costs :P
