I think you should include two more things here (or maybe its a good idea for a second vid from this serries!) - batteries+charger and betaflight, because with this set it is must-do I belive! And my personal wish.. show us how you travel with all your gear! 😃 Cheers!

    Great video. I'm in a pickle. I need two drones it seems. The painless Avata2 experience: return to home, battery longevity, working right out the box. And another drone for super fast flying, tricks, hard banking and possibly 3D maneuvering.

    Great video, I have 1 question. What EU certificate do you need for example your drone. I have the dji air 3 that is a C1 labeled drone. What do you need for yours?

    @@fabreezy_ just wondering if you ever felt the struggle of rebuilding a broken drone 😀 sure FPV is easy if you have enough money or you get stuff for free but you should tell people how much of a pain it is to rebuild everything when you crash the drone and basically if you don't have the money to get a new BNF you have to learn how to troubleshoot and how to repair the drone. I own 10 drones and all of them were build by my except for one BNF from iFlight so I think that if you want to tell people to begin with FPV they should know what kind of pain they will feel when they crash it 😀 just my opinion that not everyone should think that FPV drones are mavics .

  • @ixography

    @ixography

    @@fabreezy_ and also that until you get to a point where you don't crash it it takes a while so like I said or you have money and a lot of money or you have sponsors and get free stuff. Yes I have multiple sponsors but my first months I didn't do nothing else than rebuilding my broken drone and totally destroyed my bank account. Everyone wants to fly FPV now and the whole hobby is getting to mainstream but I still think people should know what I said above. Crashing and asking a brand to send you a new drone is not the real struggle of FPV. I remember couple years ago how you lost one of your drones in the ocean and iFlight gave you a new one and GoPro keeps sending you GoPros and this something not everyone will get. Sorry mate if you are offended but if you put something on youtube you have to take someone's opinion on this. Not hating on you just being realistic here. Sure it is nice the sponsors got your back but it won't be this easy for everyone.

    @@ixography thanks for clarifying bro, I am actually not offended at all I was just asking you what you mean. If anything it seems you are pretty upset about my video 😄 I am giving people my tips of what I have learned over the years. Learning how to build a drone takes a lot of time and may discourage people to stay consistent in the beginning with this craft hence I suggest to buy your first drone AFTER you have spent enough time in the sim. My point is to make it as “easy as possible on yourself” despite it may costing you a bit more than building it. IF you have the patience and willpower to build your first drone then of course go for it, no one’s stopping you. You are the prime example of someone who had a lot of willpower to not give up after crashing so much so well done because not everyone is that committed.

    @@fabreezy_ yes I wasn't bashing on you or anything 😀 it maybe looked that way but I see you understood my point. I get daily questions of people who want to start with fpv and lot of times they all think it is as easy as flying a mavic so there has to be some reality check🤣 anyway nice video and I am happy you didn't take it the wrong way mate

    Hi , I’m new in FPV , just wanted to ask if Nazgul F5 is possible pair with DJI RC 2 and integra googles, and what is the signal range from googles to drone. Than you 🙏

  • @fabreezy_

    @fabreezy_

    4 ай бұрын

    Hey man the DJI RC 2 remote controller is only compatible with the DJI drones not the Nazgul evoke. Integra goggles should be fine though. Signal range always depends on where you are and what's between you and the drone.

    4:26 Couldn’t disagree more. Starting of with a toothpick or tiny whoop (in acro) while help with real world learning of throttle control and movement. In my opinion it’s a lot safer to start with something small (after sim) to get the feel for flying will being rather safe compared to taking the first spin on irl flying with an 5 inch. Also I don’t think it’s a good idea to start of with a normal controller(ps5). You can get a cheap controller from BetaFPV for around 60$ and will be way better of. Atleast without modding the controller. The rest of the video is pretty good for such a short length. For beginners a longer follow up video would be way more interesting, with specific recommendations for chargers, battery’s, firmware (betaflight, inav, etc.), radio setup, regulations/safety and some basic hardware overview of all the components that make up drone, controller, goggles and radio. FPV is fun, but selling it in a 7 min vid isn’t that helpful and potentially skewes the perception of of easy it is to get into fpv and what steps are required.

    Hey man appreciate your feedback but this video is based on my experience and I have gone from sim to 5" as the toothpick drone didn't really do it for me. Starting off with a PS4/PS5 controller was a great way for me to start without having to pay for a controller yet. I am only suggesting this IF you have one laying around. I am not suggesting to buy a PS controller over an actual FPV controller if you don't already have one. The video is a concise version of how to get started, not on how to master FPV. Rest assured tho I will be creating a longer format guide in the future. I hope this gives you a bit more context about the intend of this video :)
