Hi does this fix the problem of the battery dying so quickly too?

Hi my rebels power switch was loose and it wouldn’t turn on so I replaced it but it still won’t turn on. I noticed that it was the little gold piece that makes it turn on that was damaged so I only replaced that little piece but I used a piece from a wahl clipper. Would that make any difference? I want to know how I can get it to turn on again. The LED still lights when it charges

Where do we get this my switch was faulty and it came out the box like that I reached out but no reply ?
