I forgot to mention that CamPlus Lite isn't available yet on the Wyze Doorbell. For now, you'll need to subscribe to CamPlus Lite if you want person detection on your doorbell.

I think you meant, one needs CamPlus (regular) for Wyze Doorbell to get person detection right?

Can you help me to understand having an SD card versus/or in addition to having the Cam Plus? I have Cam Plus for one of my cameras and it records lengthy videos. On another camera, since I didn't need lengthy, I just bought an SD card and planned to delete as I go. However, the camera does nothing but take a single pic. Do you know what is the purpose of getting an SD card if the camera won't take videos without a Cam Plus subscription?

What about the notification showing the wrong time? I thought I saw that on the thumbnail... any fix for that?

Good video, I just have a question. How quickly are the notifications coming in to your phone? I have read about and seen videos where the notifications were taking almost a minute to be sent out and arrive at the cell phone. Now those vids or info I read are almost a year old so I'm wondering if they have made updates to make notifications quicker

Thanks erod3128! Good question, over the past year or so they have gotten quicker. My office window faces the front of the house, and when someone walks up to the house I typically see them a split second before I get a notification. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I just added cam plus lite with no subscription and addy my cameras but if I press to add person detection, it wants me to pay, so no, person detection cannot be added to cam plus lite like everyone says

I just installed wyze doorbell v2, and when the bell button is pressed, I don't get an instant phone notification so I can answer the person at the door. If I can't figure it out in another 2 days, I'm going back to the ring doorbell. I did not have any issues with it. It is just that every year, the subscription keeps going up.

Very informative. Is there any way to send a push alert to a simple flip phone number?

Thank you, glad I was able to help. No I don’t think there is, it would need to run the Wyze app at a minimum.

On the detection zone settings does the areas you touch that then get lighter turn on detection for that area or turns it off?

Hi Brenda! The areas that are greyed out will not trigger detections, and the areas that are clear will. Hope that helps

I did the cam plus light thing and it only let me apply One camera that's not going to help at all. An advertised that I wouldn't need to pay any monthly fee and I would still have push notifications I was lied to so it seems

I have cam plus light. My notifications have been working on and off since October and now they no longer work at all. I keep getting conflicting crazy emails from wyze. Are you notifications still working?

I have 13 V3 cameras and one of my cameras gives me person detection when a car drives by I cannot seem to fix this problem any suggestions?

That’s really strange. I don’t know why that would happen. The only thing I could think of is to respond to the feedback and share it with Wyze when it’s incorrectly identifying something.

My notifications stopped working as of last night and I haven't done anything. Everything in my app is on.

I believe there was an outage yesterday.

I ran into a problem when Samsung updated to Android 14/One UI 6.1 all my cameras (6) stopped sending notifications although all was fine in the phone, in the cameras and in the wyze app setup, and even the wyze team could not figure it out.. The solution was to go into the Android setup of the wyze app (Long press on the app icon, then press the " i " top left , delete the cache, delete the Data (Dont worry about the warning message) and to force stop the app. After restart en reloging in the wyze app, all notificaions were back.

My v2 cameras only give me 12 second clips , and I have Cam Plus on all of my cameras

You probably don't have your cameras assigned to cam plus ck your settings

@@MichaelVance Unhelpful. My problem is it's not sending notifications even though my settings are all correct. I've spent several hours trying to get it to work and your video just wasted more of my time.

Using Wyze Doorbell: anyone knows how to get audio notifications to detect someone? Or this company is scamming homeowners to a minimum of $15/yr & not given 12" free? Most homeowners will refused to pay $120 annual fees & return Wyze for full refunds. If the 12 seconds free video lifetimes gone = they will return because they been had & upset.

too many camera cuts while you are talking. Do it in one take.
