Is it a good idea to use preventively? I have a 545i with 114k miles, no blue smoke yet but have had all the other usual n62 problems, would be surprised if this didnt come up eventually

I picked up some of this Forte Seal Conditioner from BMW Doctor. It didn't seem to work at first and I was worried that I'd take an $11,000 hit from the local BMW dealer, but after I drove the car for a month, the smoking just plain stopped :-) I guess I wasn't driving enough for it to do its thing, but it sure as heck does work after it absorbs into the valve-stem seals. I'm an expert member on his channel and I have saved a small fortune using Dean's direct advice via DMs and watching his channel like a typical compulsive bimmer fiend hahaha THANKS DEAN! How many bottles do you need?

Yep. Me like many of U guys have tried every additive possible to avoid the garage removing the head to renew the valve oil seals. This stuff actually worked within one day. I poured it in and ran the engine for 20 minutes. In the morning, NO SMOKE! Can't believe it. But I have just put another one in to be sure! This has cost me just £30.00. My local garage gave me a price of £350.00 ??? It damn well works!!

I like the organization of your tool setup. I wish I could organize my tools like that. With that being said, your videos are invaluable to BMW owners like myself. Thank you from Dallas, Texas USA.

This stuff really works guys! Yes you can use it as preventative with every oil change that's what I've been doing. I change the oil every 3000 miles for my N63 and S63 engines. Let it take its time to work. It's not an overnight fix with smoke so be patient.

How many units does it take during initial time you tried to fix the issue ?

Hey Dean, i don't have a valve seal issue yet but i do have a valve cover or alternator cover gasket leak on my 550i. We aren't sure yet which one it is. Will the Forte work on these gaskets or is it just internal rubber that is softens. Thanks again your video's are very helpful

Been using Forte for 8 years and people i know are dumbfounded by the simple yet effective results. the fuel conditioners are so good after you replace fuel filter makes the car feel alot more responsive and better. sometimes more fuel mileage but hey lets face it when you got performance back you floor it more often :)

Hello BMW Doctor. My Z4 (2.0 N46 engine) has failed its MOT due to emissions and I have been told its probably the valve guide seals. I am hoping this would mend that, its worth a try. But should I add to the oil or apply to the top of the guide seal/spring directly?, and how would I run the car for 100 miles if its sorned on my drive, would it be enough if I just ran the engine for an hour or two while parked? My "expert" mate who said its this also mentioned the fuel enricher is a possibility. I cant find that. Does the Z4 have a different system?

It’s completely fixed my white smoke issues in three day’s, 50 miles. The car’s 20 year’s old m57, with 240.000 miles and drives like new now.

Hi Dean, great channel, you've been very helpful with my issues on an n52 engined z4 E86 coupe. I think I have a stem seal issue, does black oily spark plugs and a constant light white (maybe very light blue) smoke from exhaust and soot on the tail pipes sound like stem seals? The plugs are 1 Yr and 3k miles old, bosch ones direct from BMW dealer. I used 5w30 Mobil one LL04 oil and bosch filters, again 1yr and 3k ago.

I would try AT-205 RE- SEAL. First. sold here in the US. Ive used it on several seals and it works. It make seal playable again and swell them slightly.

I have to say I bought this stuff on E-Bay took my valve cover off applied Forte with BG RF-7 directly over the valve springs and let it sit overnight on a 2009 Mini Clubman. The result NO SMOKE. I did have may doubts but it really worked!

Did you just use just one bottle? Had you tried to do it with other products like BAR's or AT-205? Had it been leaking bad. Thanks for your post.

Hello @BMW Doctor and guys, I would like to ask you if this product would work on Diesel Engine (M47TU2 - 320d). Why ? It has kind of a lot of oil consumption (around 1liter per 1500km). Short history of the car: - new turbo, clean egr, dpf mechanically cleaned, head gasket of the engine changed. The only thing that lefts is valve seals and piston rings. In order to prevent such expensive overhaul would this product help ? Does someone knows if this engine suffer from valve seals? Any comment will be appreciated. Thanks!

I have a 2007 Mini that is using oil and my mechanic recons the most likely cause are the valve stem seals. It has dirtied the catalyzer as well and the check engine light keeps coming on. It's not blowing blue smoke yet. Can I use this product under these circumstances as well? I assume I will need to replace the oil first? Many thanks, Johan

hey there, any update on your seals/smoke ?

if applying this directly to the valve seals is it a good idea to apply a lot of product to each seal, and let just the conditioner sit on the seals for a prescribed amount of time, and then drive?

I've got a 2007 vxr astra 2l turbo and have just recently noticed intermittent small puffs of smoke out the back.is it possible that there is an issue with the valve seals or maybe seal in the turbo do you post your product to Australia Cheers

I can't believe I found this video now. I just sold my E46 with the N42 engine, as it was burning a crazy amount of oil. Good to know for next time. Great videos by the way!

@@DVFYou I have the N42 since new 2002, never missed a beat and is still on it's original NGK plugs and yes a small leak from the brake vaccum pump which is normal on these also replaced the vanos solenoid seals. Car runs perfectly as the day I bought it. Go figure.

Bmw Doctor, i need your help please. I have an X5 E53 with a 4.8is engine, from 2004. I use 3x of your Forte for vss when i changed my engine oil. The problem is after 100miles of driving, came up on dash this errors !STOP ENGINE LOW OIL PRESS followed my CHECK ENGINE OIL. I stop the car, check the level, was OK, start the car no errors...i drive it again for 100miles, and when i stop the car again at idle came again this 2 errors...came up only when the car run at idle, not when i drive it. I chose to start driving again, becaz i was on the way to UK from Austria, and i've done 1500miles in total, and this 2 errors never came back. So, what should i do, and what should i change please ?

Hey man , quick question . Long story short I have a e90 328xit wagon that has been sitting for 4 months now I thought it was blown up come to find out it was the ac pulley that came apart . I got it up and running again she sounds great but I noticed a little drip or 2 in the garage right where the trans and motor meet assuming rear main seal . Figured I'd see if anyone had any suggestions and came across this video. The Amazon link doesnt deliver to me , but ebay has it for about 91 US dollars . Is that too expensive? And my question, I had added rislone additive to treat the lifters because some days cold start you hear them for a few minutes not always , and that oil change is the last fresh one I did befor parking it . Would you say it would be okay to fully drain and fill fresh fresh liqui moly and this additive ? Would you also add the liqui moly friction additive with this as well or no ? Thank you , would love to hear from you so thst I could go ahead and purchase this . Car doesn't smoke at all but that rear main is definitely starring to leak a little. Thanks again !!

Which oil would you recommend for the N63 with Forte? I’ve got two tubes of the product but are unsure which grade of oil to mix it with. Possibly a 5-40

Wow how I wish I knew about this earlier, so many quotes in the several hundreds for replacement stem valves and I bought one bottle for my 318i E46 within 50 miles I seen a difference and now smokeless. Only used half a tube as recommend by forte and it's been absolutely brilliant!

Hello Dean , I got oil issue on m54 , no apparent leaks , but I have to top up oil every 100miles , I did put in one tube of forte seal conditioner (is that enough) on last service, (I have replaced oil filter housing gasket, pcv system) I used 5w30 oil is that ok? any ideas thanks

I'm in the U.S. as well. I could really use this in my smokey 2013 328i. Please advise.

I use this in the 12 years old N62B48 just to prevent hard valve stem seals. I should use - according to user manual - minimum two tubes/bottles for 8 liters of oil but as a prevention I use only one because the engine has not had any blue smoke so far. I use it because I am going to avoid the nightmare. It costs me 25 euros + 80 euros oil Castrol edge M. As you know the N62B48 has also common problems with the coolant transfer pipe because of the bonded seal fail. The failure occurs primarily due to corrosion caused by an electro chemical reaction between the coolant, metal and rubber seals over time. This corrosion allows for the leak around the seal that results in coolant leaking. Do you know something what I could add to the coolant to avoid this?

Napa auto parts has a pour in to stop electrolysis that causes corrosion in big trucks that works well with smaller engines too... I use it in All of my rides and have never had EVEN one coolant problem,, all gas engines that I own are high mileage,, Jeep has 347 thousand miles and dodge Durango has 267 thousand miles.. Other parts stores may have something like it.. It works for me and lot of people I know..

Hey Mr.BMW Doctor..Would you recommend to use a bottle of forté oil fortifier along with the forté valve seal treatment in order to make the oil last a bit longer? Because if I only put the valve seal treatment is not going to last too long because the car is burning the oil kinda fast . I will appreciate if you could respond to this.

@@BMWDoctor hey, what's going on? I have a 2005 645 I. Coupe, on e in a while I'll smoke, the tranny and rear main seal was replaced..how can I order some of the forte? And how many will I need?

I have a rear seal leak on my 2011 CRV. I have tried all the stuff that is available here on the market in SA, but nothing had worked. Instead it had given me other problems. Because it is so thick it started to mess up my VTEC/VTC pressure solinoid and strainer. This was a mess to sort out and replace. Will this do the same?

Hi can this be used on Diesel engine ? I’ve a m47 code burning sump of oil overt 2 3 weeks if u let it idle for about 10 mins and drive it it’s absolutely stinking fires out smoke car has been parked for about 4 years very lumpy on cold idle can I get in contact with you in any way cheers bud!! Also is one tube enough

Thanks! Going to do that tomorrow! I only have blue smoke sometimes, like a puff… comes out and goes away for some time. Also I have vacuum related P0492&0491 codes. Car has 100k on its clock. N6244a 745i Engine has been maintained so well, no gunk or sludge inside.(so you know what’s what.) So yeh, I’ll update this post by 10th 07 2022

Hey there, I just subscribed. I have a 45 year old Datsun 280-Z that I thought I'd try it on. Do you think it will work on such old seals? I looked at the link for the Forte Seal Conditioner but that looked like something a little different from this product. I thought I'd try it, but I wasn't sure how to order it though? Thanks!
