Thank you, it worked!! Here's what I did: take 2x AA batteries, connected them in sequence for total 3 volts, then connected batteries to accumulator ( '-' to '-' (black), '+' to '+' (red) ) for about 10 seconds. Then I plugged in cable, put in earphones and case started charging!

this is a very useful clip, it helped me fix my own pair that wasn't charging straight out of the box, here is what I did : -remove that stupid case using guitar picks so that i do not scratch that brushed aluminium piece, after you unclip the case u have to pull on it because it's also glued to the chasis ( or should i say the components) - unscrew all the screws and remove the pcb and battery combo. - remove the insulating covers from the red ( positive) and black ( negative) cables that connect the battery to the circuit board (pcb) , i suggest using a lighter's flame to melt the insulation because using a knife or anything else might rip them from the glue that keeps them on the circuit board -HERE IS WHAT I HAD TO DO DIFFERENT FOR ME TO WORK: plug the USB type A of the charging cable in my computer's USB port (or any other USB power source) and the other end of the cable ( the USB type C ) into the USB type C port of the case - take 2 AA batteries, take 2 thin cables with exposed copper ends ( i used 2 cables from an arduino kit) and do as follows: tape one cable to the negative ( minus ) of one of the batteries and another cable to the positive ( plus ) of the other battery and then take the plus of the first battery and put it to the minus of the second one and tape the whole thing together basically making a series/serial/sequential connection of the batteries with cables at the end of the whole thing. - take the other end of the cables ( the ones that are not connected to the batteries) and put them on the exposed core of the wires that connect the battery as such : the cable that comes from the plus of the combined AA batteries on the red wire and the cable that comes from the minus of the combined AA batteries on the black wire and wait for about 10 seconds -now the white dots-LEDs near the usb port on the circuit board should light up , if you connect the headphones to their charging contacts another orange led should start blinking on the circuit board. -you can remove the combined AA batteries and the cables - next you would have to reinsulate the exposed wires between the circuit board and the battery and put the whole thing back together. BE CAREFUL : these wires are very sensitive and could easily come off the circuit board in which case you would have to use some special compounds to clean the glue and the solder that comes frm the factory and then solder and glue them back.

Thanks for this! I tried the original idea of 10 seconds but on plugging the cable, it never charged. I tried a few times before I noticed that the voltage was dropping as soon as I removed the AAs. So I tried your suggestion of having the cable plugged in and almost instantly when I touched the AAs, the lights kicked in and it started charging! Like a defibrillator, it is back to life!

excellent, i just opened the cover (did not unscrew anything) and attached 3v from two AA batteries on positive and negative wires of battery for 6-7seconds and DONE! Thank you for this video.

Many thanks. It works. The warranty was no longer valid. When I asked B&O shop, he said a second-hand case for US$100. Therefore this video is much helpful.

I also found this video for my Beoplay E8 2.0. Here's what I did: 1) Use a knife to pry the case open. I don't know what kind of guitar picks other people have but mine weren't doing it 2) Remove the battery from the double-sided stickies 3) Use a lighter to heat the resin above the battery contact points 4) Use tweezers to pry it off 5) Use normal tape and connect red/black contact wires to the ends of an 18650 battery 6) Expose the wires on the other end and hold them to the red/black contact points on the E8 PCB board that connects to the battery 6.1) The orange flashing was my indicator that it was working 7) After maybe 30 secs or so, remove the contacts and plug into USB This worked for my case. I had to cannibalize a USB cable I couldn't use to pull this off. Only took me a USB cable, some tape, a knife, a lighter, and 40 minutes from start to finish. Hope this helps someone else.

I used an old 5v charger. Cut off the wires, and connect positive and negative to the battery.

Hi, thank you sooo much, fixed mine today after not working for a 2 months. Only difference was that I had to use 3 AA batteries instead of two.

Use a guitar pick to open the case. Scrape off a little of the blob or plastic covering the red and black solder points on the PCB. Get an 18650 cell and tape a thin wire to the + and - terminals. wrap the other end of each wire to a pin. Put the + pin to the red and the - pin to the black. Count to 10. disconnect the pins and plug the case into a USB cable. Whole thing took me less than 10 mins.

Worked like a charm! Thank you 🙏🏻 for this video. Fixed my brother’s unit since he left it unused for a couple of months (so it got bricked). We tried using different charging cables and adaptors, wireless chargers but didn’t solve the problem. Ended up on this video and all is well! 🟧 Make sure to use 2 (two) AA batteries. At first, I tried only one AA but didn’t work. I prepared two copper wires from a defective apple lightning usb cable (I think I used aluminum wire at first cos that’s what I got in front of me but ended up salvaging the apple one) Lined up two AA batteries (positive end of battery1 contacts the negative end of battery2) then taped them together. I made sure they got charge in them. Taped one end of red copper wire to the positive end of battery couple, black to the negative. Made sure all contacts are solid and secure. Grabbed the open end of the red wire and contacted it with the red wire on the board. Then, the open end of the black wire to the black wire on the board. White LED instanty blinked at the rear of the charging case. Removed the DIY jumpstarter kit and plugged in USB-C cable to test, and then every LED is now working! Placed the Right bud to the case (blinking orange) which is great. Removed the right bud and placed the Left bud (blinking orange). Removed the left bud and checked if the case is charging by itself (all LEDs are working). Closed the charging case housing. Then placed both left and right buds to the charging case and done.

It works thanks! I used a 5v 1a charger cut a old micro usb cable stripped the black and red one hold it to de + and - for 7-8 seconds en whoop it was charging again!!

Great! Thx a lot! I have got the same issue with b&o 2.0 after deep discharging (do not use over month). I've used yr method fr jump start using just two AA batteries 1,5V, connected between each other. Approx 1 min was enough!!!

Take a two batteries and connect between each other + to - and attach with a tape two small wires 2. They follow instruction from author of this video - connect these two wires for 1 or 2 min for jump start of your B&O battery. If you have any question feel free to ask!

I finally fixed my 2 year dust gathering not charing box... But now the earbud wouldn't turn on even the box light turn green (Fully Charged), any suggestion?

How did you charge the battery from inside ?

@@Layby_encounters I have a power supply, actually you can use a 3V battery, just don’t apply the voltage too long. As I use a power supply, I can notice that when the protection circuit is off (i.e. ok), the current will suddenly go up and I can stop.

My case is flashing red all the time and the people at bang and olufsen have no clue, they said it’s flashing orange and that means it’s charging my earphones , but my earphones aren’t in the case and it’s just constantly flashing red

@@zeroone0102 쉽게 말씀 드리면, 내차 자동차 밧데리 방전됐을때 시동 걸려 있는 다른차에서 +,- 연결해서 내차 시동키면 다시 밧데리 충전되는것과 똑같이 생각하시면 돼요. 제일 중요한건 분리형 핸드폰 밧데리 있잖아요. 그게 3.8V~5V 사이거든요. 그걸 +,-단자에 얇은 전선을 1:1로 연결시켜놓고 비앤오 +,- 단자에 접촉만 시키면 돼요. 이해안되면 또 물어보세요.

Dùng nguồn 5 v cũng dc nhưng bạn chỉ kích bằng cách chạm cái bỏ ra luôn nếu dc thì thôi còn không dc thì làm vài lần là dc . Để Ý đúng cực âm dương nhé
