Since buying the Peugeot 205 gti the wipers have been really slow. Although this car probably won't get used much in the rain it would be good if they were working a bit more properly. So we set about dismantling them, finding the problem and exacting a fix. Watch this video to find out how we got on and hopefully it may help you when trying to fix the wipers on your Peugeot 205

Just had to do this to mine. I stripped the wheel boxes / wiper pivots and cleaned up the shafts with wet and dry greased them and refitted them. Theres a snap ring holding the shaft in the plastic body with wavey spring washers to keep the pre load. Use a claw hammer or duck foot trim tool to gently separate the link bars from the ball pivots. When done they simply snap back on.

7.35 into the video you say I purchased a new one of these. What was the part number .

Not entirely sure just searched for peugeot 205 front wiper on ebay.
