This worked for me. After my Nvidia graphics got damaged, I removed that and was using the inbuilt graphics and the display was stretched. I tried many things but it was not showing the 1600*900 resolution. So, tried this method and it worked for me. Thank you so much.

Another solution if the others didn't work : Go to "device manager" (type at the search bar "device manager") click the arrow of the Display adapter category, right click on your gpu/ipu (the first selection) and click enable, If you didn't see the enable button just go to properties and enable it from there!
