For those with similar issue just skip to 3:46 and do as he says. Your screen will go black twice and then all your problems will be solved. Mine occurred after updating my gpu drivers to the latest version and almost lost my sanity after 2hrs of doing and undoing everything that I could think of until this. Thank you so much!

heard the accent,knew it was going to be helpful i was wrong. i use AMD HD 6300M series driver and thats it. no 6330,6350,6370 or 6390. i use amd radeon hd 6300m....

My monitor is not connected with my laptop but on the other hand my tv is connected to my laptop. My monitor, adaptor, and cable are fine they are connected to other laptops. I changed the resolution and also updated the driver and even updated my windows 10 too win11. It doesn't work. And it didn't connect with my all monitor

This doesn't even help. All these videos of changing the display or scale requires some kind of nvidia control panel, which NOT ALL COMPUTERS HAVE. If your PC doesn't have a graphics card, this doesn't even work jeez. So unhelpful. Can't find a single video that fixes the issues

What problem were you having? Every time I open steam my screen goes black then comes back on the lowest resolution and I have to try trick it to let me in game to change settings.
