Not sure if this will work for every situation,but my phone did start to flicker with horizontal lines. I simply deleted my image downloads,down to under 200...my cleared up back to normal without a factory reset

Just reset ur phone, it is a big from a software u installed just back up ur data and factory reset. Its hard but the only option
