Got the same problem,on my S20+,screen was flickering so badly and the apps and on screen buttons/menu was inaccessible.Decided to do the cache wipe by estimation , following the youtube video screen as i can only see the selection line moving,sentences were glitching and blurred.Screen returned to normal and now moving to soft reset set as it still glitches.Also disabled adapative brightness as per recommended by samsung and increased brightness to max.Will move to factory reset as last resort.Earlier before this troubleshooting exercise ,i brought the phone to a mobile repair shop and they were going to charge me about SGD$500 for the screen replacement.I would like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Got the same problem last week, and wiping the cache partition worked for me. As of the moment no screen glitches was observed.

my s20 screen flickered and turned white to light green. i turned it off for hours and when i turned it back on, it went back to normal. that's the time i did all these solutions and so far, my phone is still doing fine. so thank you! hope the problem will go away forever.

I talked to Samsung Support and they recommend wiping out the phone (Factory Reset). I haven't tried yet but will do after deploying a backup. Yesterday I've panicked and bought a Galaxy S23+ 😅 cuz I thought the screen was broken but today it started working again lol

Hi 😊 So I went through and did all of the steps except the phone reset. So my phone flashes/glitches every 6 minutes. If I'm watching a video it will shut the video. It will also just do it on my home screen. I'm also pretty sure it didn't do it while on safe mode. Should I delete all 3rd party apps or..?

Hi, I have a video playback problem. When I want to play back videos, the S21 asks me to open with either "Video Player or Photos. When I do, I get streaking high contrast lines throughout my picture. Can you recommend another video playback player to default to?

Same on my s10+ since yesterday...but occurs randomly. So right now I am watching the video in this phone until the prob occurs again. Seriously if this will get worse and worse I would recommened buying and LCD screen on eBay for 30 € and replace it. That should at least work for the next decade!

Guy if your phone have a green screen problem don't send it to repair to change lcd,will cost you very expensive.This was cause by software update,if you experience green screen just wait for a day or a few days it will back to normal just always keep open your phone like normal,it will turn back to normal.Just believe me,im using my s20 ultra now,I love samsung guys❤😊😊

I've tried everything but a factory reset so far and no luck yet 😢. I'm going to make a back up of my phone but am curious if it does fox it with factory reset if I back it up will it not just back up the problem and re load it to my phone? I guess we will see.... Lol

I think right now...why not buying an LCD panel for your oled screen ob ebay for 25-50€ and replace it. The colors might not me as vivid but at least it keeps on working for the next decade =)

I have same problem lcd samsung Galaxy s20 ultra , not durability at list 2 years. Replacement is very expensive so don't buy samsung phone . I am going to switch to apple. Boycott samsung phone, no quality only quantity.

I have a yellow stain on my samsung s20+ and it's very expensive to fix it!! All my previous phones and tablets were Samsung and they refuse to take responsibility for their bug that caused burn-in stain (it happened after update).

if you put in a bowl of rice overnight , the mini Asians will fix it by morning.. if it doesn't get some toothpaste wipe over the top of the screen .. let it dry and wipe off :)

@@smurf0s Put the screen in a cat litter tray overnight, wake up the next morning make sure there is feces and urine surrounding the phone, but not on the actual phone. If you have done all steps right, turn the phone on and the screen is fixed by 10am

That did not fix the flashing green screen but it completely wiped my mobile. I can not y how frustrating that has been. You should have a warning on your video.

My literally just started flashing white and green can barely make out text in back. Cannot attempt fix 3 through 6 cause of this. Samsung says it's a known software glitch and should be fixed in a week.. I say BS.. called the Samsung fix it store.. and he gave me BS excuse or no it's your screen.. that will be $300. I was like.. Your Samsung rep JUST told me it was a known software glitch.. But You are saying.. no it needs a $300 Screen repair.. so you repair my screen and it's still doing having problem.. then I have just received a free screen repair.. well uh no.. Nice try sling your screen hook somewhere else.. fix the software problem

Worthless as all solutions require you to be able to navigate a home screen which is no-existent on my phone, just flickering green and black. The touch screen is not responsive at all.

Samsung rubbish phone…unreadable lcd milky white/green screen. Difgicult to switch off withput password. Try inputting password with a pea soup keyboard. Back to iphone! Glad i kept my iphone 7 in the meantime.
