In my case, turned out to be microscopic particle inside 3.5 mm jack, so phone thought earbuds were plugged in. Could access voicemail using speaker phone but normal mode was completely silent. KZread or radio streaming was also completely silent but worked fine with earbuds or aux to car stereo. The fix was to dislodge the particle gently with a safety pin.

Lcd replacement caused sound problems, factory reseting broght sound back, reinstalling apps took sound out again. Samsung is not playing the due care to this common problem

I just took a 7-hr flight and speaker wasn't working on arrival...popped the sim card and it started working. Something to do with the seals and pressure changes...running an S22

OMG!!! I've just been on a flight for 2 hours and I got the same issue with my Samsung S22. I have spent 3 hours trying to solve it, installing different apps for speaker cleaning, because water from the bottle leaked a bit in my purse. I thought it got broken completely. You are a saver!!!!!!

thank you! i thought my speaker was broken and i tried absolutely everything and spent the entire day trying to fix it. took the sim card out and put back in and its fixed now.

For anyone only getting sound from the top speaker.. In "sound & vibration" I had my gs10 set to vibrate, which wasnt fixed till it was put back on to "sound"

I had an issue like that and found 2 problems 1.the flex cable for the screen was loose.2 the flex for the charge port was loose. So you can check this 2. So what i did was place tape over the connectors to keep them in place.
