the best way to resolve this is to return it to where ever u got it from and get a new one.

this problem can also appear if my previous console was banned but I buy a new one and create a new account for it?

Doesn't work for consoles that are reported "stolen or missing."

@@sarabhasiva37 No. Just stating a fact. Sony bans consoles reported as stolen or missing with this error code. I, unfortunately, received such a console for Christmas. Simple. No biggie though. Games on PS5 are meh

Bro , swallow your good virtues . And resell it and use that money to get a new one . I did . I got scammed by a scum bag . I was down $450 and said nah , posted it myself , sold it to someone , made the money back and got the one I should’ve gotten first . Yeah I’m a scum bag but now I have a working ps5

Anyone got ws 116332-6 error resolved?

I cant put my acc on primary it says this error code every time I try and I can’t play my installed games. It keeps saying that it can’t verify my licenses

None of those worked for me. I sent my broken PS5 into Sony and I got an exchanged one and when I went to sign on the Playstation 5 error code WS-116332-6 came up and I could'nt log on. I called Sony and told them my situation the support person said it will be 24 to 48 hrs before they can resolve the issue. My PSN user name and password are not banned .

I finally after two calls to PSN got it unbanned and all is well.

Any solution for this is going to be very technical. As it is literally a permaban of your PS5.

Yup! PSN told me themselves that the one I bought was permaband! This was no use to me!

Non of that worked

So I bought mine through Walmart…didn’t notice it was through a third party seller and this “error” popped up. Searched all over how to fix this but currently unsuccessful. So I’ll have to wait till Monday to contact Sony and see what can be done. Wish me luck!

Not how I wanted it too…Called SONY for three days and all gave me the same thing as they couldn’t assist me. Then they advise for me to call ProElectronics so they can reimburse/exchange my purchase….which they too have said no even though they sold me a stolen console. I’ve told them that I still have a year of manufacturing warranty but still they refuse. I’m at a loss rn so idk what to do with a PS5 I can’t even use for online gaming 💔

If you just got it return it! You still have time to do so….that’s if you got it through a retailer I unfortunately waited too long to open mine and find out my fate. I’m still trying to get them to exchange it since it still has the one year manufacturer warranty

Where you able to get this resolved? I bought mine through Walmart as well. Went through hell to get assistance and finally have a case#. I just want to know if they will actually do something about it. I mean I have my bank statement to prove I bought it and didn’t steal it 🥹

And what if none of those 3 steps to fix it work? I just tried all 3 and none worked on the used PS 5 I got today. I ordered it off Amazon on Thursday.

i got mines in a box too and went i set it up and went to sign in it never worked i guess it’s best to go to the PSN website they explained some stuff or just return it and get a new one.
