Guys my PS4 is old gen and not like this which means that I couldn't fix the button but there was a wire that was kinda loose beside the button and when I fixed it the button works but for the most part this guy told me how to open it so he just earned a new sub

Hello brother , my power supply is working because I'm able to turn on my ps4 with my controller but I can't turn it on with the button neither use eject button , it happened suddenly out of nowhere I cleaned the buttons and everything still nothing any help please do I have to replace power supply? Or a cabe or something

Thank you!! It helped me a lot to put that metal thing o the right standard position. I opened the ps4 for the first time in 8 years to clean it and when I put it back together the eject button wasn’t working anymore. I must’ve bent it while cleaning. Thanks a lot!!

I had to make mine not work because no matter what it will push itself over and over. You can eject with the options button so i bent it where it doesnt work anymore lol. Was super annoying

@@DirtyMikeHoncho At first this was happening to me too because its kinda difficult to find the sweetspot. Either it kept ejecting by itself or not working at all. But after many many tries I could find the standard position of that fucking piece.

@@DirtyMikeHoncho It all depends on how much you want it hahaha When I was almots givin up I made it right. Try to pause the video and replicate the default position of the piece. Like I said, after many tries I found the sweetspot. Good luck!!

I opened mine to clean it and after that every time I walked in their carpeted room it was in, it would eject. Ended up bending it away so no contact.

What if it's nothing in the game it just beeps

Mine beep but not ejecting the disc, i still can eject from the controller with “remove the disc” option, but on the switch, it just beeping and not ejecting the disc

Couldn’t get mine to work. If it’s the case with anyone else I recommend removing the entire disk ejection button and putting tape over the sensor. You can always still eject the disks digitally.

Hi J, are you touching the gold contact directly underneath the shell? If that doesn’t switch the console on, then it stands a chance your Power Supply Unit has blown. Regards, Bill

@@cd247repaircentre7 i meant the eject button. The console itself works well except the eject button and it no longer beeps for anything.

On accident when I was cleaning my ps4 I wash the bottom plate and now that doesn’t work is that the problem
