I found a Fix. Delete save game data then resume install then wait for error screen then press retry

I finally got my game back. All that i did is when i got the corrupted data message, instead of deleting the game and trying again, i kept hitting resume and eventually it started downloading normally. It might not work for you, but im just telling you what worked for me. Spread the word

@@JA-nw1geGo to Settings, Initialization, initialize PS4, Full. Just make sure you know your ps4 email and password to get back onto your account. You won't lose your game data.

Guys the best option is to initialize the PS4 I tried it and it worked

Couple years late but just keep the update/ download open instead of rest mode or home screen, if it’s a glitch rather than an actual hardware issue it should work

Hi everybody, I have this problem with the update for Batman Arkham Knight. The update downloads fully, then appears the error code, and it starts all over again. Is there someone who had the same issue and resolved it? Also, when I want to change the batmobile and resume the story, another code error appears and I get thrown out to the dashboard. Since that's pretty annoying, do you have some solutions?

My problem is that I was downloading fifa 19 and it was like "corrupted data" and I tried a lot of things but im not gonna try this one cause the comments tell me that there is a big chance of it not working and loosing everything so yeah right now I don't know what to do please help

no it doesnt remove purchased games, all you have to know is the email and password to the account that you bought the games with.

It deleted your account in the ps4 not entirely u can just sign in again if u know the email and the pass

Nothing is fixing it and i dont want to remove everything so if somebody has a fix please feel free to let me know about it(the problem is in cod warzone it only downloads 15 gb then stops and data is corrupted)

not a clean or clear fix, but I just restarted my PS4 and tried to resume the download around 4 or 5 times and eventually it worked.

Im not sure but i think it does because it resets the whole system if u dont have a lot of clips and alot of downloadable games i think u should do it but keep in mind do restore licenses and rebuild database that might work for u

I tried every possible online solution here, nothing is working. I even called PSN, didn't solve this. They tried saying its my HDD, but I tried this download on 2 different externals(one new) and my new system HDD. This really seems like its not my end. Its for COD MW 4 remastered. I'm about to give up and say the hell with the game, bc every other game downloaded with no problems.

@@dylancaracciolo9081 What I figured out was it was not my console like Sony said it was. It's not my gateway or connection to my ISP. Somewhere between the file or in the WAN it was getting fucked up. So what I did to get it to download was I used a Server Proxy address and port. I set my network to a static address. I also used Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Keep in mind, if it's your gateway, see if it works on a hot-spot. If the proxy server works, it's not your set up. It also rules out if it's your PS4 or not. Proxy servers can sometimes go down so make sure you pick a good proxy. Also you might have to switch to another proxy server if the connection fails. Just pause your download and change to another server. I did get a new error while doing this, but it was because the server I was using lost connection. I just changed servers and tried again. It took a little longer, but eventually it did fully download for me.

@@cjvallee7524 I figured out my problem months ago. It was my internet connection. I had to use a proxy connection for the download to complete it successfully. I suggest trying the same thing to rule out weather it is your system or internet connection. If the proxy works it might be your connection. If it does not download it might be your system. I suggest fallowing this video via kzread.info/dash/bejne/e52Yz9itoMWupaw.html and try a proxy server. I use this link for proxy server addresses and port numbers via www.proxynova.com/ . Keep in mind some servers are shitty connections and might be slow or not reliable. So try a couple of them until you see the download start.

If this does not work for you then it might be your system's Operating System, file system, or Hard Drive. I suggest if this is the case to call Sony and they will walk you threw a system restore. If this also does not work it might be your Hard Drive.

@@simplysarah5926 Ghost of Tsuhsima is a glitchy mess for me right now. Either the characters themselves will freeze during the cutscene, or their lips will be moving with no audio and the subtitles will be gone as well. I'm on a PS4 Pro 4K HDR... I tried reinstalling the game, that didn't work. I tried Rebuilding my Database through Safe Mode, that didn't work. I tried prioritizing Performance over Higher Resolution, that didn't work. I tried to Initialize my console, that didn't work. Hopefully a patch is released by next week...doubtful tho. This issue was also very present when I played The Last of Us 2. I've never had this difficult of time with any games until 2020...*sign...what an overall crappy year so far.

Honestly i think i figured out how ps4 works with its updates and downloads. Basically what it needs is that, lets say the game is 64.53GB. All you need to do is that, you need to clear your storage so that it will either have more or equal storage to the game. Not even kidding, took me hours to figure out why I can't update the nee CoD. I EVEN DELETED IT🥴 and now im just waiting for the entire game to download which takes more than 10hrs judging by your internet speed😬
