Things really do happen for a reason ...I just checked out your KZread channel after you made a comment to me about the Boss Katana app for your iPhone and wouldn't you know my buddy Tony was stumped on his Nissan airbag light(for weeks)..your video just made his life a lot easier..thanks bro I also replied to your comment about the Boss Katana app and I found 2 that should work for you..don't forget that you will need a OTG and USB chord...I try to let everyone know about the phone hookup because like I said it's so much easier than hooking up to a computer or lugging a laptop around..they actually give you options that the BTS doesn't have..weird but I like it

Matt, if this is at all possible can you upload or provide a step by step about what you got from the Junkyard and how you went about doing this? This is a shot in the dark for 2+ y/o vid but I'm desperate for my 2009 Altima.

Good info. Same issue with my 2006 Nissan Versa. Dealer informed me it would be $4250 to replace the passenger seat. That is not happening...

I have an airbag light situation with my 1997 Nissan Maxima and I'm wondering if you know where I could find the impact sensors in the front bumper because I've tried all the other methods like the door switch trick, the ignition switch trick even trying to look at the connections under my seats with no success so people are telling me my last option is to check the front impact sensors for the airbags

can you somehow override it ? or put a switch to manually turn the airbag on or off for the passenger ?

Are you able to send or post a video of the process of swapping out the part?

Venkata Amirineni sorry the second vid apparently KZread doesn’t like to upload it for some reason best place I have found is the junkyards and its cheap there as well

I do the key on key off reset procedure and it turns the light off, and stays of, until someone sits in passenger seat. there is a co called airbag360 that sells a bypass . it will make the pass airbag go off in any collision

Can you upload the video on how to replace these parts? This may help my 2010 Nissan Versa S HB with the flashing air bag light.

frankj19758 sorry I have tried a couple times but the video got corrupted. On the Altima the box was under the passenger seat.. unplugged that and had to take the skin off the car seat.. so I took off all the fabrics and pulled it back and the bladder portion was on the seat portion after I took the fabric skin off

Thomas Gomez I actually got them at a junkyard, tore the heck out of the seat but got both parts lol. Online they are lot more. At junkyard maybe 20 bucks

I have a question so I have a 2007 nissan Altima and I have the airbag warning light on . it doesn't go away ..I took it to the dealer ship to get itcheck and they told me it was the passenger side airbag module thats bad. Do you know what I can do? Any advice

my 2009 altima has the same problem. they said it will be more than 3k to replace and fix, which is insane. they recalled newer models for the exact same reason.

Unplug the water lineturn sensor upside-down, clean any rust on polished ball in sensor and reinstall, it's just too much work for a dealership 🙋🏁

Matt Gorgoglione I currently have the passenger seat out of my 15 frontier. I am having the opposite issue of most people, my pass air bag light is only coming on when turning the key to the on position for about 7 seconds, then will not ever turn back on after. My red air bag dash light blinks 2 seconds on 2 off. Think unplugging the water line like u mentioned and cleaning will help fix my problem??

No the videos good , there's a sensor right at foot well next to bottom of mid door when shut, take that floor step gaurd or carpet off and you might have just spilled a drink or coffee got on another differ sensor 🔧😷🏁☕

how to fix if airbag light on without flashing

my 05 frontier throws the red airbag light blinking as soon as someone sits in the passenger seat.

My nissan 2013 the airbag light stays on but when someone sitting on it turns off. Is it the sensor ? Tnx

Super SE you have to take the upholstery somewhat apart.. you can loosen in the back of the seat as well as underneath. The bladder is sandwiched between the foam and the top layer of upholstery material

@@mattwood5493 Thank you for responding, I ended up buying an emulator for my 2009 Nissan Altima at airbag360, it was $80 but at least it is safe to drive now. The downside is that the light on the dash for the seat belt sign is on unless someone puts the seat belt on. I could probably disable the seat belt sensor but it doesn't make any noise so I'm fine.

Did you have to remove the seat from the car?

No but it does make it easier

So I had a bladder problem and didn't even know it 😳

Mines will blink SIX times then stop, then ONE time then stops, then starts this cycle all over repeatedly. Does anyone know what this code (6,1) means

I got a 14 altima with codes B1422 B1433 B00a0 any help
