How to fix nerf disruptor/strongarm catch problem

About time someone has come up with the fix to this annoying problem eyh. Btw, i think I shouldve stook to 2 wraps when it came to the electrical tape as any more than that was causing my disruptor to shoot weaker due to the increase in friction added by the tape. Anyhow, someone in the comments will mention it.

Got the exact same problem with my Strongarm. Tried this, the slider still isn't catching the plunger a 100% of the time. I'm considering sticking the part with the nubs to the plunger. Thanks for this useful video though!!

Hey guys! If your gun is not catching, reduce the amount of wraps of electrical tapes (2 normally works). I know i said it in the video and then i said 5 but ye.... Enjoy! Let me know if this fix worked for you!

Reason being is because more than 2 wraps will cause friction when cocking back the gun resulting in further issues. Therefore, remain to 2 wraps of tape! 😛

That actually has happened to me with one of my disruptors in the past. The only solution is the metal rod solution where you have to cut a hole in the priming handle and into the rod itself. I tried it and I obviously flopped since I'm a noob. However, here is the link so you can give it a try if you want.
