Man, I've been playing RS since 2004 and OSRS since 2013. My back and neck are killing me, but 6 months??? It's 2019. If it's not instant gratification, and instant results with no effort, it's way too much. I'm like 10 cm taller when I standup straight, which is basically never, because it's so hard and painful.

Doctors don't fix problems like this through exercise unless they prescribe physical therapy. Chances are they will just give you meds. Chiropractor, training (such as this video) are the only real ways to correct problems like this. But, you don't need a chiro, you just need to put the work in. 1 hour every other day do your workout and eat good food. You would not believe how much food plays a part in getting well and strong.

unless you have some serious bone disease, you don't need a doctor for this one. what the gym instructor suggests is infact the truth. your posture is determined by your muscle mass.when i was a kid i suffered from this nerd posture as well, imo push ups and shoulder are the best exercises that fixes your posture.

I gave myself severe tech neck in middle school, when I was a major computer programming nerd and embraced being nerdy (I also had a Jewfro lol). Since then I've not only completely lost interest in any kind of tech at all, but I've come to despise my former nerdy self and have been trying to fix my tech neck for four years. I'm mostly recovered but these are some interesting tips to continue to keep my neck up as I do other work on devices. Thanks!

Just started to do this. Wow the first exercise is so difficult for me. Trying to keep my head against the wall and look down is impossible. Hopefully after a few weeks I will be able to look down while my head is against the wall. I woke up really sore this morning trying this for the first time around my neck and upper back

Coming into my thirties I'm really starting to notice some discomfort, tho doing stuff like this and hand and arm exercises have made me feel relatively pain free, I think not doing at least something to fix it all has left me quite weak and susceptible to minor injury that could have been avoided. Do your exercises and stretches ppl, it helps in the long run.

im 6'6. gamed my whole life, and have scoliosis as well as this bad neck issue. I am in physical therapy for my neck and back. shit is real. 'sit up straight' is impossible to follow advice for me without a lumbar support. most chairs encourage bad posture for large people. was 6'4 in 8th grade slouching in my tiny chairs in middle and high school. overall good video. i have back spasms in my back where you pointed, my muscles are weak there. all kinds of stuff. my point is good video overall, this junk is valuable and most people won't notice it until its too late cuz thats just how it goes *shrug* make a psa video lol
