I was having an issue where the waveform didn't match the audio and everyone kept saying to clear cache and that didn't work but this did so thank you so so so so so much!!!

Excellent! Worked like a charm. It's nice to finally find a video geared toward people who are still having the waveform display issue, even after they've taken the very obvious steps of enabling "Display Waveforms" in the timeline settings, and rendering the audio from the Sequence menu.

Yeah it took me a while to find a fix for this issue as everywhere I looked, everyone said the same thing, so when I finally figured out how to fix the waveform issue, I thought I should make a video about it to help more people. I'm really glad I could help you 👍

@@ManicJackk The funny thing is, my fallback workaround for this issue was exporting the problem audio clip as a .wav file, then importing the new .wav file and replacing the problem clip with new file. which, as it turns out, is exactly what "Render and Replace" does, just much more easily and elegantly. That was something of an epiphany to me. Thanks again!

LIFE SAVER! This was the solution to my problem. But my problem was: I could no longer hear playback on nested audio althouhg i had made not changed or effects to the linked audio in the nested track, I Rendered + Replaced and it fixed it! THANKS AGAIN!

Really - as below - tried all the standard stuff - this did it - genius in 90 seconds!

No problem Totonch, glad I could help you mate! Yeah re-linking the audio with the video after doing this is very important as it saves a lot of time because otherwise you'll be moving clips and audio separately and that can get quite tedious, so yeah make sure you re link them!
