Did not work for me

PERFECT! I just installed Office 365 and I couldn't open Word documents either by double clicking on them (even though the definitely are associated with Word) or by right clicking on the Word icon on the task bar and clicking the document I just had open 10 seconds ago! It said it didn't exist! About 1 minute to do the quick repair and everything is fine now!! Thanks!!!

when I'm saving a text with win11 editor and I want to open the editor again and expect an empty file the text I previously saved again opens. This was not the case with win10. How to fix that?

To revert to the older behavior (where Notepad always starts with an empty file), you'll need to disable the "Saved Tabs" feature. Try deleting cache and reboot and check again if not then you must re install word and make it default
