Nice tips. I picked up one yesterday and plan to employ the mods you mention and a few others I've seen on KZread.

I bought 1 for my shop. Got it all together and it wouldnt suck up the sand.. replaced all the large clear tube with smaller tube. It works now. Also dont push your hosing all way down on metal suck tube. Only push it down about 1/2 inch then clamp it.

So the side port is actually the air in. The vacuum port is on the back. So you don’t actually vacuum up the media just the dust.

Paint the inside of the cabinet white, makes a big difference to perceived lighting inside.

dhc4ever so does a slight tint on the outside of the glass the glare from shop lights outside the cabinet make it horrible

My cabinet is brand new.. Lines all tight and not getting siphon tibe to pick up.any media?

How do I increase the flow of media through the nozzle? Changing tips doesn’t seem to do the trick.

When you said 90° pipe in the 2 gallon bucket did you mean a 90° fitting? Just facing inside the bucket somewhere

if you would trash that miserable harbor freight gun and pick up tube, go buy one of their pressure pots with a deadman valve to replace the gun. with this set up you could have blasted that piece you were working on to perfection in probably under a minute. compared to the 20 mins it probably took using the harbor freight gun
