This works great if you happen to have chrome which doesn't work well on Macs. If you have Safari however this is a chronic problem with no solution. You can go to Safari settings, give google meet permission and it will STILL not work, the video portion at least. Best idea is to report the problem to google in hopes they will fix it.

Doesn't work for me, I have it on allow but it doesn't detect the camera. Any idea what's going on?

You need to restart the browser. Then it will definitely work!!!

Solved the issue, it was my Kaspersky Premium blocking the camera view

None worked unless I restarted the Chrome browser.
