Cannot Thank you enough for this video - just replaced mine in the 2018 keep grand Cherokee - unfortunately found not find the V3 screen had to replace with the V2 - for $350 from amazon. It it lasts as long as the first one did ill be happy - easy to do works like a charm

yeah, but how do you get the bubbles out without replacing the whole screen?

My 2019 Grand Cherokee has the 8.4 screen but it looks like it's attached to the dash bezel. Will this work? Would I have to separate it from the dash bezel? It looks like the bezel has a protective screen that goes right over the LCD screen.

Update on the Dodge RAM navigation problem. They told me that they knew it was a glitch but not enough people have called in to complain to issue a fix.

Is the Replacement unit prone to the same delamination issue as the Original? I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk w/Hemi and my wife noticed the Crack on the display today because she was on the passenger seat and the sunroof was open and the sun just hit it at the right angle. I have an extended warranty so I am not worried about being covered but I want to make sure that I will not be having the same issue in 3 years and 15K miles. My Trailhawk only has 15K miles so I do not think it would have anything breaking specially with this low mileage but I do live in Central Florida and it been a HOT SUMMER this year. Any info would be appreciated.

After removing my stereo from my 2500 I found out it is a Harmon model . Comes apart slightly different than the one in this video - not sure how to remove the actual touch screen. Do you know how and where I can get a new touch screen. The radio works fine but I can't navigate via the icons on the screen. Looks like the previous owner took out some frustration on the screen. 4:02

Hey! I just bought a new screen just like the one you show in the video but through a different dealer. After installing it was good for about a day but then it started doing the ghost touching again. Any suggestions? Is it the screen or something else?

Hi it’s your screen Send me a photo of the back Of the screen If you did not buy it from us you probably got a older refurbished screen if the screen model number is ending in (SL)(01) or (SL)(02) Its junk you need to buy the (SL)(03) I see a lot of people on ebay selling refurbished screens saying that they are new I have had about 30 people have the same problem you have had

I might be getting more I’m actually talking to somebody right now Because so far all of the screens are fakes the easiest way to tell If the screen is fake LG has a blue tint to the screen All the fake screens I’ve seen they Have like mirror finish

Idk if you’ll reply but I did the replacement with an SL03 like yours and am getting the image screen off center. It’s about .25 of an inch to the right side (so much I can see a black borderline upon using the backup camera. Do you know what’s the culprit for this and how can I solve it?

The mounting screws from the sl01 didn’t fit the sl03, ended up snapping the end of a screw into the mounting hole of the lcd screen and now the pcb can’t hold contact and causes the screen to reset

You can’t buy a screen that says (SL)(01) or (SL)(02) Only the (Sl)(03) Will not delaminate

I’m trying to get more it’s not easy Last time I had to spend $200,000 In order for LG to look at me $200,000 is nothing comparing to Panasonic they’re spending millions. Plus, they stop making them My guy is trying to convince LG to sell me some more There’s fake screens but I don’t like them they look like shit doesn’t have that blue tint Has like a mirror looking finish

(Dodge RAM Laramie 1500) My Dodge RAM Laramie 1500 truck will be 7 years old on Christmas Eve. About 2 months ago I ordered a navigation map update and installed it. The installation went off without a problem. Here is the problem. When driving down the interstate at 70 miles an hour and I am in the far left lane. Every time I pass an exit the voice comes over and announces that the speed limit is 30 miles per hour. The display on the map screen changes from 70 miles per hour to 30 miles per hour. After I pass the exit it goes back to 70 MPH. I am not getting off of the exit but keep on traveling in the left lane on the interstate. I have called the map company, “Here” and told them the problem. They said it is not their problem and I need to call Dodge U-connect for a fix. I called Dodge and explained my problem. They said go to the dealership. I did and they told me to back to Dodge U-connect. I was told today when I called it was a glitch in the system. Call Tiffney 800-826-6632 X3025432 Call and complain to have them get this glitch fixed. Here I am the customer wedged between two companies and cannot get any help.

If you were to come into my shop The first thing I would do would be to check your GPS antenna . But you said. you didn’t have this problem till you updated the maps. I am pretty sure on the navigation options there is an option where you can turn Off how fast you are going or the speed limit

@@chcarstereo5575 That's right about it worked OK until I updated the maps. I called Dodge RAM back and they admitted there is a software glitch but they did not have enough people calling in to complain to issue a FIX.

$400 bucks smh my car is only 5 years old 55k and it bubbles 🫧
