I wore one every day for 30 years. I ended up losing hair due to traction. I am surprised so many of these ladies continue to braid their hair and wear extensions when it is causing tractionary alopecia

So happy for this client! 💓 She's a perfect client for extending hair techniques in comparison to what her hair really needs...the stylist notices all lines of carrying out what's needed for her client's hair.

I was washing my coily natural hair before completely detangleing and definitely lost so much hair to removing tiny matting or dreds. I started dry detangleing a few months ago because of her advice and it has made my wash process much easier and my hair retention has improved. Also not blowing out sopping wet hair has helped my curl definition. I really appreciate her intelligence, focus and expertise on hair health.

You have a beautiful family and you are such an understanding stylist. That was the perfect healer to cut, thank you for listening to your client! The hairstyle came out perfect for her.
