What kind of material cement do u use to patch?

How do you match the texture finish? Where you filled it the cracks with the cement and smoothed it out with the wet sponge you're going to take away from that textured look it'll be smooth in that spot you repaired.

if you asking about repair material it comes in two parts. one is dry powder and second is adhesive . you mix them both together. (if you mix powder with water it will not adhere)

Great vid!!!! Hello from lower Hudson Valley NY. Subscribed straight out! How does this material behave with freezing and thawing cycles? And what would be the maximum Depth and Width of repair this material can be used? I won’t be doing the repairs I have DIY. Learned a lot from this video. Just want to be a little informed while requesting quotes. Thanks again!

phoenix has a very warm climate, not sure how well xcel surfaces texture would do in freezing weather. I would go with a product that local contractor recommends you.

With the Excel concrete repair "mud," do you color it with something (what do you use) to get it closer to the color of the patio before it's painted? Or is it the color of Excel? Thank you for responding I'm trying to repair my patio but I'm doing the research first so I can get the best repair products & method. Your attention to detail with texturizing is excellent! One can't even see where the repair starts or ends, it's almost mesmerizing to watch you work : )

the color of repair material is grey. we do not add anything to it . this is how it comes out of the bag.

Don't painting it make it really slippery
