I agree with what she says about the “in between phase”. I ended up losing all of my hair a few years and as I grew it back out I HATED those phases just because they really were hard to figure out what to do. Simply because I couldn’t really style my hair because it was to long but not long enough to pull back into a pony tail.

I don’t know why people are saying she cut too much. When I wear my hair short, I go that short! Commit to short or long. Period. The client was happy and that is what matters in the end.

YES! Short cuts demand maintenance and are expensive. I tell everybody think before you cut it because the ponytail days are gone. I have had a short cut for over 20 years. Subbed! 🌹

Short cuts were in before the natural styles and the wigs got popular. ive never been able to grow my hair and I'm just not the natural girl because of my alopecia but when my hair was short it was easy to camoflouage. I'm thinking about going back short. If I get tired I'll just put on one of my 20 wigs.

yesss! My short style clients are weekly visits. Yes they are expensive, especially when clothes is incorporated into the ticket! But as I say, we pay for what we want!

Short cuts are only high maintenance and expensive for ppl who don’t know how to manage it themselves. I’ve always felt my short cuts were way more low maintenance. I don’t even have to curl it every day

That’s not my experience. It depends on how you wear your hair. Short hair worn as natural curls is the easiest maintenance of styles in my opinion.

Wow I miss my perm and my short hair cut. I went natural thinking it would help my alopecia but for the last 4 years it hasn't gotten any better. So I'm thinking about going back to my short do.

That's a nice Hair-do at first I didn't like it because it was much too short! But as she started to curl it adding waves and textures to it the style really came alive!! It's quite Beautiful really!!

Just to add most black women will take offense because they don't like to get much hair cut off they are really attached to their hair, but it grows back. Our hair don't always grow back as fast so it's offensive to see more than an inch taken off. Keep doing greatness and as one of your commenters said, there was no gun to the lady head so she obviously wanted very short hair.

Fearless 12 sometimes a cut is unavoidable. Example. If someone has terrible split ends, damage, etc, you have to cut it all to retain the health of the rest of the hair. As for this video, the woman already had a short cut and needed something manageable for her. They clearly discussed all of this beforehand. What did you expect Crystal to do, add weave? The client obviously wanted short hair.
