I developed sonar powers after being hit in the eyes by a radioactive isotope while crossing a street in the Bronx. Now, I practice law with my partner Foggy during the day, and fight the evil of my nemesis The Kingpin at night. Sometimes I fix ovens to de-stress. B)

Mine keeps going out randomly, sometimes 10 times in a row and sometimes stays on for 30 min then goes off. The thing is tho, when it goes off the gas is still coming through cause all i have to do is push the ignitor or light it manually and it will light back up tho the gas will stop running after maybe 20 seconds or so but after the flame goes out it is still running and sometimes the flame will drop but it will re ignite itself because it happened so fast not sure what the problem is?

My Gas Oven when I turn it on will surge then almost go out, well some times it will go out. So will blast a lot of flame then almost snuff out then repeat, will often do this till the oven is hot like over 180, if I run it under 180 it still usually snuff out after a short time.

Good job. Is the thermocouple still working? I found the universal one from bunnings are low quality. I used them on hot water, gas heater and they worked but didn't last for long time. They fail quickly.

Thanks for the video! My oven burner (bottom) and broiler (top burner) are both not staying on. Do you know if replacing the thermocouple will fix both? Or just the oven burner

It will depend on your oven/burner unit, so have a poke around. Sorry I can't be more help.

Man, ask a professional to do that for you. Considering your level of absolute not knowing anything about this kind of things really makes me feel concerned because you can literally blow up your house with your entire family inside.

Great video but sadly can't see shit of the end result due to the 2 video thumbnails that entirely cover the working burner :(

@@gadgetmiser. You're da man. Thanks for the video and the super quick response to me not being able to see the flames. About to diagnose whether I have a faulty thermocouple or the thermoelectric thingy.

Turned out my issue was a super easy fix. The knob wasn't pushing the plunger in far enough for the electromagnet driven off the thermocouple to pull it in/hold it in. Trimmed off maybe 1/2 mm off the inside of the knob and Bob's your uncle.
