2000 Corolla uses a very similar IAC valve. Impossible to open it up (removal from the throttle body is easy... but access to the rotating barrel end inside is insane), but an entire replacement valve may be the safest method to resolve a rough idle and fix the problem... if that is where the problem lies.

Good instructions and easy to follow. Note that you can simply use cheap clamps on the coolant hoses to avoid having to capture all the leaking fluids. Lastly, you'll gain more respect from those who care about their engine by simply washing your engine before you do a video. Thank you.

No es de ser malo para trabajar..es que mi video queria comprobar que era falla de la valvula..si le hubiera limpiado el cuerpo de aceleracion le hubieran tenido duda que era la valvula..y solo por eso no la limpie.

I was going to, but for video purposes i kinda wanted to show that it was the idle air control valve that was the fix.
