Another reason is that you may be densely packing the tobacco in your bowl, possibly covering the holes so there is poor air flow

finaly i find out my hookah leak... i had a leak on the bowl grommet and with my hand on the top hole of the hookah as u demonstrate everything was tight seal but when i put the bowl on and trying to smoke it i had very thing clouds... i figure it by putting a foil without holes on the bowl and trying to draw and i was able to draw normal... so i make paper towel grommet on the top and now its smoking again like a king !!! thank u for the tips and all the videos u make !!!

Hi. I have an Egyptian Hookah. . Well at some point after I smoked for about 30 minutes or so. . my hookah starts tasting like I'm smoking a cigarette and it's very terrible. the amount won't matter as much as how you pack it and how much heat you use. You can smoke a bow that is under-packed just fine with the right amount of heat.

hey I know this video is old but when i try to smoke my hookah, I feel like theres an air leak coming from the bowl and I fdon't understand why, but I end up just blowing air or very little smoke and I can hear an air leak sound coming from the bowl everytime I try to take a hit. try to put soapy water over the seems, if a bubble forms you know put some electrical tape over it :)

When I smoke the the smoke is not thick and the smoke in the base goes away when I try to smoke it

What's weird in my issue of smoke not coming out is that it only happens on the second coal I put on my hookah. It's smoking perfectly fine on the first round, and I take the dying first round coal off of my hookah before I heat up the next one, then when I put on the next coal, absolutely no smoke comes out anymore... Is this a common problem? It's only happened in the past days and I can't find anything online on how to fix this.

it could very possible be that the shisha is done and you need to reload the bowl. How big is the bowl you are currently using? I've had many cases where the shisha is already fried and there's no more moisture to burn, so a second round of coals is useless.

Hey guys my I just bought a hookah and I've been setting up hookahs for years now but I can't get the coals to stay lit on the bottom they are the starlight instant coals been using them forever. Any ideas why I've trying lighting them on the stove with a lighter matches and even by using a light coal but evert time I light one and blow on it till it's red and place it on top of the head it just turns black on the bottom and starts to die. Please help

It could be many factors involved in it. Much more than the space we have on here to reply. Do you have access to natural coals? unfortunately this happens to a lot of coals, even the natural ones. how many coals do you usually use and how do you place them on the bowl? It could also be that the coals you purchased are stale.

My problem is that smoke isnt accumulating in the base of my hookah. Suggestions?

Hey I wanted to know that if its ok to put water through the pipe of the hookah(the metal standing up part) because I set everything up right but in the rain the water slipped into the pipe. Please help

hey well its umm sort of a question and a tip if i am right as u said to let u know if any other..... well IF U MAKE TOO MUCH BIG HOLES IN THE ALUMINUM FOIL.... THEN U LET MORE AIR TO GET IN TO YOUR HOOkah... and thats what makes less dense smoke... also if foil is not done tightly... it does the same... AM I RITE???

I have AK47 hookah from Vapor company...... I can't get enough air from it. Is this hookah just for good looking? Or there is a problem with it?

I personally haven't used the AK47 hookah because I'm more of a traditional guy, so I can't give you an educated answer unless I do some research. The only thing I can think of is make sure that the water level in the base is no more than an inch above the downstem to get the right amount of smoke. Also make sure that if you are using foil that is drum-tight. Try that and see if it helps.

Dont fill bowl to the top, make sure foil doesnt touch the flavour

I’m having a problem I can’t get any smoke out of it I thought it was my hose

My hookah produces such a great amount of smoke, but the flavour is just awful. At first the smoke tasted great, but then i changed to a new flavour of shisha, it tasted horrible. Got back to the original shisha flavour, and now it tastes even worse. Tried to clean my hookah, but the smoke tastes awful. Any help?

Please help. My one has a gurgling bubbling sound when i blow but not when i draw

When I smoke my hookah I don't get any bubbling sounds from my water at the base. instead I get a whistling sound from my bowl. Still smokes great but just wanted to know why?

There are many things to check. First have to make sure that you have enough water in the base. The water line should be right about one inch above the bottom of the stem. Any more than that it will restrict the airflow when you inhale. Another thing is the bowl grommet. Make sure that it's snug on the stem and that there's no air leaks when you test it out before putting the tobacco in. If it's not snug then you need to use a different grommet. I hope that helps.

You check by setting up the hookah completely without the bowl, put your hand on top of the stem where the bowl goes and take a hit from the hose. You should feel the air pulling your hand. If it's completely sealed then you don't have a leak. If you hear air hissing from somewhere, then keep pulling from the hose until you figure out where the leak is coming from. the complete details are on our site: www.hookah.org/common-problems-my-hookah-isnt-producing-smoke/ Happy smoking.

I tried 3 different brands of charcoal. Natural and quick light. They all start off fine, but when I get to the center of the coal, the smoke stops. I remove burnt parts of the coal and place the large chunk back on top and still wont smoke. I put the coal on the edge of the screen. I rotate the coal. Nothing has worked. Hookah it's self has no leaks. HELP!

If you don't have a purge ball, you can actually scrunch up a small piece of aluminium foil as a temporary replacement :)

what kind of hose are you using? is it a washable hose? what do you use to clean your hookah and your bowl? all of that plays a part in your hookah session. After cleaning all of your hookah pipes you should let it air dry and not use anything to dry it.

You blow into it to clear the smoke in the vase and also to reduce any harshness of the smoke

or the bowl is too packed/full

Seals are fine, thing barely fucking smokes and tastes like shit. Tried every possible fix and nothing helps.

That's a crown hookahs glass mouth tips. They don't make this exact mouth tip anymore, but they have others that are quite nice. You should check them out. The mouth tip should fit in any hose with a removable mouth tip.

If you like to purge your hookah, I wouldn't recommend taping it up. You can get a small bag of ball bearings for a few dollars at a smoke shop. If you don't have a smoke shop near you, then you can actually order it online from either ebay.com or amazon.com.

it is. I figured out the problem though, one of the hoses was somehow more narrow than the other. got a new hose and its all good now.

My taste RN is basically coal for the first time ever, and it started just today from the very beg. of trying to have a session. I had to get some lemonade to dampen the taste. My hose is pulling through just fine it seems as I tested it by itself and without the bowl on top, and without the bowl and any thing holding coals nor coals on. It does have some taste to it though, the hose. My non washable hose has had juice in it from usage of the hookah and I let it drain just recently. My search results generally come down to the hose, being I have the KL chamber and have used aluminum with a bunch of holes, even adding more. I have an Egyptian bowl and I personally don't like them for the hole placement. As well, my bowl has a dip on part of the lip which generally has annoyed me. It used to work just fine for many months of owning this hookah and using it pretty often at times. I am finally trying Apple On Top that I have wanted before but I wasn't sure on. It is mentioned in reviews to keep shisha going without burning, even for four usages worth. I'm going to own my second hookah, when I have my own place, which will be Art Hookah I have really wanted for quite some time now. Until then, I guess I will dish out money for a washable hose for the first time and for the first time as well, to try out a chiller add-on, Mystique. I will own all my hookahs regardless and whatever I don't use anymore will also be kept as memorabilia, as decoration. I've seen a handful of your videos before. I will re hear this one now as I play some PS4 on my day off of two days off in a row. ;3 Thanks bro.!¡!¡ ∆∆∆

So my ball was stuck so I pulled it down till it dislodged. I checked underneath it with a paperclip and it is clear of anything. It still tastes bad. I think it is the hose. Maybe it could be that these coals have sat around too long for many months or beyond that? I don't know, but it is the same box I been using. I will try from a newer box actually.

If you have the funds then sure by all means. However a lot of people have a favorite hookah that they rather fix and keep using then purchasing a new one. This video is for them.
