How to Fix a Beaded Liner that is Out of Track / Vinyl Liner Extrusion
Step 1: prepare by boiling a gallon or so of water
Step 2: carefully carry and then pour the hot water directly onto the liner and into the pool
Step 3: while the liner is now pliable, use your arm strength and grip and pull the liner upwards and push the bead into the track with your thumbs
Pro Tips: work in sections, apply water as needed, avoid pinching your fingers, wear gloves if you feel more comfortable, DO NOT use a heat gun or blow dryer.
*Using dry heat can & will damage the liner pattern and integrity of the vinyl. You risk melting, tears, and holes with a blow dryer or heat gun!

Would this work for an above ground pool

Melissa Acevedo Yes this method would work for above ground pools that use a "beaded" liner that fits into a track. Some above ground pools use an overlap style liner that folds over the pool wall, in which case this method would not apply.
...nice "trick of the trade"
