How to Fix a Baggy Crotch on Jeans

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hello friends! In today's video, I wanted to show you how I fixed a baggy crotch on my customer's jeans. The bagginess at the beginning wasn't the most flattering, so we did the scoop method to fix it. At the end, it looked great and she felt confident in her dance performance! Is this the solution you imagined when you first saw the jeans? Let me know!

I hsve to do this to every single pair of pants that I buy. I also end up taking darts in the back so I usually completely remove the waistband. if I'm doing jeans I will put the waistband back with thread that matches the fabric first and then go back with the gold thread after I know it's all stitched down correctly with the first thread

Interesting! It's basically the Front version of the Back alteration for reducing extra fabric across the back of pants or skirt below the waistband. (both: remove waistband and then lower it) This seems better than the other option to pull down that extra fabric in the crotch along the inseam line which often creates it's own set of new wrinkles, this one technique is much smoother.

Hi! The biggest problem with the bra is to find out what your correct size is. Bra alterations aren't very easy nor practical. Measure your under bust in inches, and that will give you the right number 34, 36, 38, etc. Then take a good look at your cups. A lemon size is A, an orange B, a grapefruit C, a water melon DD, and so on. There, you'll have your size 34 D, for example. I hope this helps 😊
